Soundcore AeroFit 2: New wireless headphones launch with LDAC support and IP55 certification
Anker is now offering new open-ear headphones with the Soundcore AeroFit 2. The price is quoted at US$99,99 on Amazon.
The open-ear headphones in simple terms are speakers that are directed towards the ear canal and are not inserted into the ear canal. This allows Anker to install quite large drivers. These measure 20 x 11.5 millimeters and are advertised with high sound quality. The manufacturer particularly emphasizes the precise reproduction of bass. The playback quality is not reduced by losses during transmission via Bluetooth, as the Soundcore AeroFit 2 support LDAC.
The Soundcore AeroFit 2 are held to the ear by an ear hook. These can be rotated in four stages and according to the manufacturer, are even more ergonomically designed (compared to the previous model). These ear hooks are covered with a layer of silicone, which is said to improve wearing comfort. IP55 certification is available, so users don't have to worry about the headphones when running in the rain.
A battery life of up to 10 hours is advertised, and with intermediate charges in the charging case, this results in a total runtime of up to 42 hours. With an intermediate charge lasting just 10 minutes, an additional 4 hours of playback can be achieved.
