Apple is thought to have elaborated on the typical iPhone camera hump design for the first time in years with the imminent 17 series. Now, in what might be one of the last comments on the smartphones' design courtesy of a famous leaker prior to their official unveiling, the change is portrayed as being more functional than previously imagined. There are potentially disappointing, but perhaps inevitable, exceptions to this imagined upgrade, though.

iPhone 17 Air weight and depth advantages over Samsung rival allegedly confirmed

The iPhone 17 Air will indeed debut as a thinner smartphone than the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge, according to a new leak. The rumored new kind of Apple flagship could also be lighter - although its Android nemesis might actually take up less space in other dimensions. Ironically, the S25 Edge might be more generous in some important ways.
