Verdict - Honor MagicBook Pro 14 is an excellent all-rounder with a great display
The new Honor MagicBook Pro 14 2026 is a very good overall package powered by Intel's new Panther Lake chips including very powerful integrated GPUs. The chassis is a bit thicker compared to Honor's own MagicBook Art, but the cooling performance is superior and allows higher power limits without annoyingly loud fans. You also get two SSD slots, there is a sufficient number of ports and in addition to the comfortable keyboard, you also get a haptic touchpad.
Honor uses the familiar 3K OLED touchscreen with a 3:2 aspect ratio and it offers superb image quality. Even bright contents do not appear grainy, despite the touch layer, movements are very smooth thanks to 120 Hz and you get accurate color profiles, so you can immediately start with picture or video editing. The battery runtime is also very good with 15 hours in our Wi-Fi test.
There are only small negative aspects like the lack of Wi-Fi 7 and you do not get a card reader, either. The memory is soldered, but 32 GB should be fine for most users and this laptop segment. All in all, the new Honor MagicBook Pro 14 2026 is a very good overall package.

Price and Availability
We will add information about the prices and the availability as soon as possible.
Honor launches the new MagicBook Pro 14 2026 with Intel's new Panther Lake processor generation. Our review unit sits in the middle of the available SKUs and offers the Core Ultra 5 338H including the powerful Arc B370 GPU, 32 GB RAM as well as a 1 TB SSD. All models feature the 14.6-inch OLED touchscreen with a 3:2 aspect ratio.
Specifications
Case & Connectivity
Honor still uses the same chassis from the previous MagicBook Pro 14 for the new 2026 model. The metal chassis is available in three different color (Starry Gray, Green or White) and leaves the quality leaves a very good impression. Both the base unit as well as the lid are very sturdy and the hinges are well adjusted (max. opening angle ~165 degrees). You can easily open the lid with one hand but there is still no noteworthy wobbling. It is easy to remove the bottom panel, but maintenance is limited to the fans, the battery as well as the two SSD slots.
You get a total of four USB ports (1x Thunderbolt 4) as well as HDMI. The Wi-Fi module does not support Wi-Fi 7, but still manages high and stable transfer rates in our test. The 1080p webcam (including IR sensor) takes average pictures.

Input Devices - Haptic trackpad
The illuminated keyboard offers 1.5 mm travel and a comfortable typing experience overall, even though the MagicBook Art 14 has a slight advantage. The power button is integrated into the layout in the upper right corner and accommodates the fingerprint scanner. Honor also implements a very good haptic trackpad (12.5 x 8 cm) with good gliding capabilities and additional gestures at the edges, which are support by vibration effects. You can also use the capacitive touchscreen for inputs, but it can also be deactivated.
Display - 3:2 OLED Touchscreen
The display is a high-resolution 14.6-inch OLED touchscreen (3120 x 2080 pixels) with a 3:2 aspect ratio. The subjective image quality in combination with the refresh rate of 120 Hz is simply stunning, especially since the touch layer does not results in a slightly grainy impression when you look at bright contents. We determine PWM flickering at 120 Hz for brightness levels below 85 %, but it DC dimming with a very small amplitude and should not cause any issues.
The SDR brightness reaches more than 500 nits and we measure up to 774 nits for HDR contents (or 760 nits for a completely white image, respectively), Honor once again includes very accurate color profiles (including sRGB) and our analysis with the professional CalMAN software shows very good results out of the box. We managed to improve the image quality slightly with our own calibration, but this is not really necessary.

The display backlight flickers at 120 Hz (worst case, e.g., utilizing PWM) Flickering detected at a brightness setting of 85 % and below. There should be no flickering or PWM above this brightness setting. The frequency of 120 Hz is very low, so the flickering may cause eyestrain and headaches after extended use. In comparison: 53 % of all tested devices do not use PWM to dim the display. If PWM was detected, an average of 8002 (minimum: 5 - maximum: 343500) Hz was measured. | |||
Performance - Intel Panther Lake
Review Conditions
The MagicBook Pro 14 offers two power profiles: Smart and Performance (only on mains). However, the Performance mode does not make much sense for our review configuration, because there is only a marginal advantage in terms of CPU multi-core performance, but it does not justify the much louder fan noise (42.9 vs. 53.6 dB(A)). We therefore used the Smart profile for our benchmarks.
Processor
Our review unit is equipped with the new Intel Panther Lake Core Ultra 5 338H with 4 performance and 8 efficiency cores. The processor consumes up to 65 Watts and then levels off at around 50 Watts, so the performance is very stable even under sustained workloads. The overall performance level is comparable to the old Core Ultra 7 255H. The performance is not reduced on battery power.

Storage Devices
Our review SKU is equipped with the 1 TB version of the YMTC-PC411 and the transfer rates of the PCIe 4.0 SSD are high as well as stable. The only annoyance is the factory partitioning with the small system drive (228 GB + 625 GB on D), which is unnecessary and can quickly become an issue when you do not pay attention while installing apps or downloading files. Thanks to the second SSD slot, it is no problem to expand the storage capacity.

GPU Performance
The highlight of the new Core Ultra 5 338H Panther Lake processor is the integrated Arc B370 GPU, which is a powerful iGPU and the deficit compared to the Arc B390 is just 12-14 % in synthetic benchmarks. The actual gaming performance is even pretty much on par. This means almost all other iGPUs are clearly beaten. The MagicBook can also utilize the full potential of the Arc B370, where the GT cores consume between 35-37 Watts. The GPU performance is stable both for sustained workloads as well as battery power.

Emissions & Energy
System Noise
The MagicBook is a very quiet companion for your everyday tasks and short peak load scenarios usually do not result in louder fans. We measure around 39 dB(A) for gaming and up to 43 dB(A) during our stress test. This means the MagicBook Pro is a bit louder than the slimmer MagicBook Art, but the power limits are for the latter are also much lower at 40/26 Watts. As mentioned before, the Performance mode does not make much sense for our review spec, because you will pay for marginal performance gains with annoyingly loud fans (53.6 dB(A)). Our review unit did not suffer from any electronic noises like coil whine.

Power Consumption
Our consumption measurements do not reveal any surprises and we can measure up to 100 Watts during the stress test, but this value quickly drops to ~78 Watts. The included 100W power adapter is therefore sufficient. The MagicBook Pro can also charge other devices via USB-C at up to 80 Watts.
