Verdict - InfinityBook Pro 14 is a good overall package
The new Tuxedo InfinityBook Pro 14 Gen10 is once again a very versatile ultrabook, which does not follow the trend towards slimmer devices with limited connectivity and maintenance options. You can install up to 128 GB RAM and there are two full-size M.2-2280 slots for SSDs. You also get an Ethernet port and plenty of USB ports, even though one of them is an old USB 2.0 port. However, the Linux ultrabook does not support Wi-Fi 7 or the 6 GHz Wi-Fi band.
The processors are now Zen 5 chips from AMD and the performance is very good. The fans get quite noisy under full load, but there are also quieter power profiles where the performance is still decent. The familiar IPS screen with 120 Hz offers good image quality and now gets even brighter.
All in all, the InfinityBook Pro 14 is an interesting device with good performance figures and is especially interesting if you simply do not want a laptop that makes compromises in terms of connectivity and maintenance options.
Pros
Cons
The Linux specialist Tuxedo updated the InfinityBook Pro 14 and now uses AMD Zen 5 processors in combination with upgradable memory. The 120 Hz display is also a bit brighter now. The starting price is €1199, but our review unit does have some upgrades like the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370, 128 GB RAM, and a 2 TB SSD for a total of €1879. If you prefer Windows, you can get the XMG Evo 14 (E25) with a starting price of €1049 without operating system.
Specifications
Case & Connectivity
The chassis including the input devices are identical to the previous generation, so we refer to our review of the XMG Evo 14 (M24) at this point. There are plenty of USB ports, but the fact that one USB-A port only supports the old 2.0 standard in 2025 is not understandable. The maintenance options are still excellent with two RAM slots and two SSD slots. Wi-Fi 7 and the 6 GHz band are not supported on the Linux laptop, though.

Display - 120 Hz and 500 cd/m²
The panel is basically still the same matte IPS screen with the resolution of 2880 x 1800 pixels (16:10) and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The overall image quality is very good and there is no grainy picture impression on bright images. There is no PWM flickering, but the response times are not very fast. The brightness is now higher and close to 500 nits, but the black value is a bit high (0.42 cd/m²). The factory calibration is already decent, but we managed to improve the image quality noticeably with our own calibration. Combined with the full sRGB coverage, it is no problem to edit images and videos.

We performed the benchmarks with Windows and the energy profile Overboost. In everyday situations, however, you can easily use the less powerful profiles, because the performance is still very good.
