The 16:10 3K display that was a premium option on the previous generation is now the only option available. Users can opt to get an additional NVMe SSD or a bigger 99 Wh battery. Prices start at 1520 EUR.

The seventh generation Linux-based InfinityBook Pro 14 premium ultrabook features the same thin and light magnesium chassis from the previous gen, yet the processing power is now significantly boosted thanks to the addition of Intel’s Core i7-12700H CPU and an entry-level dGPU from Nvidia. Maximum supported RAM capacity is 64 GB DDR4-3200. Total weight is slightly increased from 2.2 lbs on the 6th gen to 2.4 on the new models, and the profile is still around 0.6 inch. New to this generation are the Deep Gray and Ice Gray chassis color options.

While Tuxedo was offering a premium 3K display option on the 6th gen models, this is now the only option offered. Besides the 16:10 2880 x 1800 resolution, the 14-inch display has a peak brightness of 400 cd/m and can reproduce 99% sRGB, as well as 81.1% DCI-P3 color gamuts.

Customers who need more storage space can opt to add a second NVMe SSD for a total of 4 TB and the possibility to set up a RAID0 matrix. If the second SSD is not needed, for the same price, one could add a larger 99 Wh battery instead of the default 53 Wh one, which also increases total system weight by around 200 g (0.5 lbs). Additionally, Nvidia’s RTX 3050 Ti dGPU is optional on the variant with a larger battery.

Premium features include a full size SD card reader, webcam with IR sensor and a custom BIOS that allows users more control over Intel’s management engine, webcam, speakers / mic, plus Internet connections. Speaking of connectivity, this model features Wi-Fi 6 + BT 5.2. Port selection comes with a Thunderbolt 4 connector (DP + PD modes), 2x USB-A 3.2 Gen 1, 1x USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 (DP + PD modes), HDMI 2.0b video output and audio combo jack. The USB-C port can act as a GbE port through a special adapter that costs an additional 19 EUR.

A base configuration with 8 GB of RAM, 250 GB NVMe SSD plus the bigger 99 Wh battery is priced at 1520 EUR. Versions with an additional SSD instead of the bigger battery and the RTX 350 Ti dGPU start at 1870 EUR. All configurations come pre-installed with TUXEDO OS based on Ubuntu with KDE Plasma UI, but there is the possibility of getting the latest Windows OS, as well.
