Xiaomi has published pictures of the Mi 9 flagship smartphone on its community pages in three different colors. There’s the regulatory black, a shimmering blue, and a color that has already received several different descriptions and seems to offer a dash of purple and a smattering of pink. Xiaomi has asked tweeters to retweet its post if the latter color offers “major unicorn vibes.”

A report from CNET mentions that TCL Corporation could be busy working on up to five different foldable devices. It seems two of the devices are tablets, two are smartphones, and one appears to be a combination of a smartphone, smartwatch, and bracelet. The Chinese company is apparently planning to release a foldable device in 2020.

Vox Media, the parent company of tech news outlet The Verge, has issued multiple copyright claims on videos criticizing its widely maligned PC building tutorial video. Using YouTube's copyright claim system, Vox lodged copyright strikes against several different channels that made criticism or parody videos of the tutorial. YouTube issued a copyright strike against some of the channels in question before reversing the decision, citing fair use under the DMCA.

Amazon has been the focus of considerable political opposition in the state of New York due to its plans to build one of its two new headquarters (HQ) in Long Island. New Yorkers have voiced their discontent with the proposals over the amount it would reportedly cost the state, among other issues. Amazon may now continue its HQ plans with other US locationa in mind.

LetsGoDigital has taken another shot at creating renders of Samsung’s upcoming foldable Galaxy smartphone. Since the “accidental” leak of the Samsung Vietnam Unpacked video there have been some question marks raised over what the foldable device will actually look like, as the smartphone shown in the video is vastly different to the one shown at the 2018 Developer Conference.
