Amazon has been the focus of considerable political opposition in the state of New York due to its plans to build one of its two new headquarters (HQ) in Long Island. New Yorkers have voiced their discontent with the proposals over the amount it would reportedly cost the state, among other issues. Amazon may now continue its HQ plans with other US locationa in mind.

Realistic renders of Samsung foldable smartphone with dual display posted online

LetsGoDigital has taken another shot at creating renders of Samsung’s upcoming foldable Galaxy smartphone. Since the “accidental” leak of the Samsung Vietnam Unpacked video there have been some question marks raised over what the foldable device will actually look like, as the smartphone shown in the video is vastly different to the one shown at the 2018 Developer Conference.

ASUS has unleashed the first laptops with Ryzen 3000

One variant of the new Ryzen 3000 mobile CPU series, the 3550H, has been launched in the form of the ASUS TUF Gaming FX505 and FX507 notebooks. They are 15- and 17-inch laptops, respectively, both of which feature 4GB of inbuilt RX 560X graphics memory. They also have 16:9 FHD displays with minimal bezels and options on Radeon FreeSync.

A new report from the NBD Group shows that smartwatch sales in the US increased by 51% from November 2017 to November 2018. Wear OS only accounted for a maximum of 12% of all of these wearables sold. The rest of the sales were those from the top 3 in this market: Apple, Fitbit and Samsung.

In terms of PC video card usage, Nvidia absolutely dominates the chart with 74% of users having a GPU from the green team. The GeForce GTX 1060 is the most popular graphics card, while the highest-ranked non-Nvidia product is AMD’s Radeon R7 Graphics in 14th place.
