Reviews for the Honor 10 Lite

84.3% Honor 10 Lite Smartphone Review | Notebookcheck
The Honor 10 Lite looks almost exactly like the Huawei P Smart 2019. There are hardly any differences in the specifications either, and even the price is the same. We clarify in our review whether the only improvement users of the Honor 10 Lite can really expect is a better selfie camera.
75% Honor 10 Lite review: Attractive design and display at an affordable price
Source: India Today English
But the Honor 10 Lite is not for a power user who is looking for a terribly fast and snappy phone that multitasks with ease. And this especially true for the 4GB RAM model, but you may have some luck with the 6GB RAM variant. The mid-range Kirin chipset is good enough for basic day-to-day tasks like messaging and social media browsing, but it will not be able to handle intensive workloads. For such users, the Realme 2 Pro or Redmi Note 6 Pro makes for a better alternative. And those looking for a pure Android experience should lean towards the Nokia 6.1 Plus (Review) or Motorola One Power (Review).

The lower priced variant of the Honor 10 Lite is yet another smartphone in the very competitive sub-Rs. 15,000 price segment. In order to stand out, the 10 Lite sports a glossy finish. It also is the first phone from Honor to have a dewdrop notch and to ship with Android Pie out-of-the-box.

As reviewed, the Honor 10 Lite feels a little underbaked but with a little tinkering before launch, this is an enticing option for under £200.

Honor has opted for a dual camera setup on the 10 Lite. It consists of a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The primary sensor has an f/1.8 aperture and an f/2.4 aperture for the secondary sensor. At the front, it has a 24-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture. Honor advertises AI capabilities for both the primary and the selfie camera which we will be testing in our full review.

Honor 10 Lite First Impressions: Lite on budget, high on features!
Source: The Mobile Indian English
The Honor 10 Lite surely seems to be a decent device in this price band. The phone features some sleek design, which surely gives a premium look and the display looks immersive. The hardware and software combination seems to be decent and the camera capabilities are yet to be tested in its full glory. As for the competition is concerned, it will face stiff competition with the likes of Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2, Realme 2 Pro and Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro.

90% Honor 10 Lite review
Source: PC Advisor English
This is one of the best cheap phones you can buy with a large screen, great battery life and versatile if not excellent cameras. You might prefer the plainer software of the Moto G6 series but otherwise if you’re on a budget the Honor 10 Lite is the best going.

75% Honor 10 Lite review: a little tinkering unlocks a lot of potential
Source: The Verge English
You shouldn’t buy a £199 phone and not expect there to be tradeoffs, but Honor’s software settings make the Honor 10 Lite’s issues seem far more severe at first glance. However, once you’ve spent a little time digging around in the settings and getting it set up the way you want it, then there’s really a lot to like here. The screen is big and bright, and the processor is fast enough to handle most of what you’ll throw at it on a daily basis.

Honor 10 Lite Hands-On: Lightweight Build, Familiar Design
Source: Lowyat.net English
At this point, the only thing that remains to be announced about the Honor 10 Lite is a local pricing. However, that will all change come 8 January next year, which really isn’t that far away. In any case, we’re still not done testing the phone, so you can expect a full review of the phone in the near future.

Honor 10 Lite hands-on: The budget selfie king?
Source: Android Authority English
We won’t have official European pricing for the device until it officially launches in the U.K., but the phone costs 799 dirham in the United Arab Emirates, about 192 euros or $217. That’s about half the cost of the Honor 10, so this could be a great option for fans of the company with a bit tighter budget.

Hands on: Honor 10 Lite review
Source: Techradar English
There's a lot to like on the Honor 10 Lite - yes, it's underpowered in places but it more than makes up for it with inner smarts and an (expected) low price tag.

ARM Mali-G51 MP4: Integrated mid range graphics card with 4 clusters. Beware the results in the Mate 20 Lite, that detects benchmarks and boosts the performance. Non demanding games should be playable with these graphics cards. » Further information can be found in our Comparison of Mobile Graphics Cards and the corresponding Benchmark List.
Kirin 710: ARM based octa-core SoC containing four Cortex-A73 cores for performance tasks (up to 2.2 GHz) and four Cortex-A53 cores (up to 1.7 GHz) to save power. Furthermore, the SoC integrates an LTE radio (600 MBps down) and a ARM Mali-G51MP4 GPU. The SoC is manufactured at TSMC in 12nm.» Further information can be found in our Comparison of Mobile Processsors.
6.21":

Only a few smartphones have larger screens.
Large display-sizes allow higher resolutions. So, details like letters are bigger. On the other hand, the power consumption is lower with small screen diagonals and the devices are smaller, more lightweight and cheaper.

» To find out how fine a display is, see our DPI List.
0.162 kg:

Only few smartphones are more lightweight than this.

Honor:

In 2014 Huawei created the sub brand Honor and offers certain smartphone series under this name. Occasionally the products are also called Huawei Honor.

The market share of Honor products is manageable, but there are several reviews on Honor smartphones with average ratings (as of 2016).

79.08%: This rating is not convincing. The laptop is evaluated below average, this is not really a recommendation for purchase.
