The Huawei P30 Lite New Edition is a slight refresh of the P30 Lite that was launched in early 2019. The new edition was launched to cater users with a way better device to take, store and process photos. While the physical presentation of the new edition is similar to the previous version, the P30 Lite New Edition does have some new things to talk about. The main significant differences between the new edition and the old model are the RAM and internal storage configurations. While the earlier model came with 4 GB of RAM, the new edition has been upgraded to 6 GB of RAM. Similarly, the older version had 128 GB of internal storage, but the improved newer version offers 256 GB of storage for users.
The Huawei P30 Lite New Edition comes with a 6.15-inch screen size for a better display. As far as the battery is concerned, the new edition is equipped with a 3340mAh battery cell with 18W quick charge. This definitely calls for a reduction in charging time and increase in ease of use for users. In addition, the octa-core Kirin 710 processor incorporated in the new edition ensures smooth operation and maximum power efficiency to allow longer battery life. However, the bragging about the specs of the Huawei P30 Lite New Edition does not stop here, because it incorporates another special feature to crave. It is none other than the 32MP selfie camera which features Super Selfie Night Mode. While the 32 MP itself is going to be a game-changer in image processing and video shooting, the night mode allows users to capture great images and videos regardless of the environmental lighting levels. This is achievable through an AI-enhanced camera and eight scene recognitions for capture that have been incorporated within this model. The new edition also features a 48MP Wide-Angle lens along with an 8MP Ultra-Wide-Angle lens and a 2MP dedicated bokeh lens.
Similar to its original version, the P30 Lite New Edition also comes with support for Google apps. The idea of Huawei launching this new edition can be associated with the Google app certification. This is due to the fact that the certifications for Google app support are tied to model numbers of smartphones. Therefore, Huawei can still legally relaunch the P30 Lite New Edition with just the slightest tweak of specs and designs of the original P30 Lite without violating the United-States ban on Huawei. The new edition has been released to act as a temporary solution to the Huawei ban, because by launching the new model, it allows the company to launch a ‘new product’ while keeping Google apps on board. As long as the company keeps launching new ventures like this P30 Lite New Edition, the brand name will never fade from consumers’ mind.
