Xiaomi has presented its latest 'flagship killers' following last month's launches of the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro. Arriving in their wake are the Redmi K70 and Redmi K70 Pro, two cheaper handsets that contain various flagship hardware, including Snapdragon 8 series chipsets.

Xiaomi has launched the Redmi K70E, the cheapest model in the Redmi K70 series. Available from CNY 1,999 (~US$282) in China, the Xiaomi Redmi K70E houses various impressive components, including a display that delivers 1,800 nits peak brightness.

Acer has launched the Predator XB283K V3, a 28-inch gaming monitor with an Innolux AAS panel. Available already for US$439.99, the Acer Predator XB283K V3 outputs at 4K with a 150 Hz refresh rate and high colour accuracy.

Acer has started selling the Predator XB273U V3, a 27-inch IPS monitor that combines a 1440p resolution with a 180 Hz refresh rate. The Acer Predator XB273U V3 is available for US$249.99 and provides 400 nits peak brightness, among other features.

Xiaomi has presented the Redmi Book 16 2024, a 16-inch laptop that debuts a day after the Huawei MateBook D 16 2024. Available with just an Intel Core i5-13500H processor, the Redmi Book 16 2024 also has a 120 Hz display and a 72 Wh battery that supports 100 W fast charging.

HTC has announced that its new own-brand accessory augments the UX of its VIVE headsets as never before with new technology that confers true "self-tracking" on the user. Accordingly, their avatar's movements in games or apps are backed to become more realistic and convincing with an Ultimate Tracker - or more, as they come in multipacks as well as individually.

The "next big thing" in home theater experiences comes in a "surprisingly small" package, according to ViewSonic. Its new projector has an "ultra-compact" form-factor, yet is rated to throw bright, color-accurate images of 100 inches from just under 3 meters away. The M10 also upgrades to integrated speakers enhanced with Harman Kardon tuning.

The Redmi Watch 4 is Xiaomi's latest smartwatch, following last month's launch of the Watch S3. Based around a near 2-inch AMOLED display, the Redmi Watch 4 also has a comparatively large battery and built-in GNSS location services, among other features.

The XNote is a Smart Notebook that works with an accompanying XNote Smart Pen and XNote app to digitise or mirror handwritten notes. The XNote Set is available from US$179 on Kickstarter and should start shipping in early 2024.

The Data Frog R36S is another Rockchip RK3326-derived retro gaming handheld with a 3.5-inch display. While it shares all core features with the Powkiddy RGB20S, it does so while costing about 50% less without sacrificing performance or usability.

Sony's latest firmware announcement for the Alpha 7 IV mirrorless cameras adds support for up to four custom grid lines that can be imported as PNGs — for US$149. This is useful for non-standard shoots where repeated framing is necessary. Support for more cameras down the line is confirmed, but it's unclear which will be eligible for the upgrade.

One-Netbook has started selling the ONEXGPU, an eGPU that sits within its ONEXPLAYER brand. Available for US$599 initially, the ONEXGPU combines an AMD Radeon RX 7600M XT GPU with various ports, RGB lighting and M.2 SSD expansion.

Huawei has updated the MateBook D 16, which it now sells as the MateBook D 16 2024. Theoretically, the MateBook D 16 2024 should pack considerably better performance than its predecessor thanks to the Core i9-13900H, an Intel Raptor Lake-H processor with 14 CPU cores. Huawei also includes a 1200p display and a 70 Wh battery, among other features.

Huawei has expanded its two-way satellite communication software with the MatePad Pro 11 2024, a new flagship tablet that is a mere 5.9 mm thick. Huawei has also installed a 120 Hz OLED display, an 8,300 mAh battery that supports 66 W wired charging, and a six-speaker system.

The AYANEO AM01 is the company's first mini-PC and one that it has released for under US$150. The AYANEO AM01 is available in various configurations, including as a barebones unit, with either the AMD Ryzen 3 3200U or Ryzen 5 5700U.

Anbernic is now selling the RG35XX Plus, a new retro gaming handheld with a 3.5-inch and 4:3 IPS display. The Anbernic RG35XX Plus contains various upgrades from the RG35XX, including 4x more RAM and a more powerful chipset.

Rotwild has presented its two new R.X1000 and R.C1000 e-bikes. The e-mountain bike and the e-crossover are both equipped with a huge 960 Wh battery and an innovative motor/gearbox unit from Pinion.

The RedMagic 5088 Partition is the company's first gaming monitor underpinned by 5,088 Mini LED backlight zones. Supposedly, the new monitor can reach up to 1,400 nits peak brightness, which RedMagic has combined with a 160 Hz refresh rate and a 4K native resolution, among other features.

RedMagic has launched the Realm, a 49-inch curved gaming monitor based around a Samsung Display QD-OLED panel. The RedMagic Realm is said to deliver up to 1,000 nits peak brightness with 0.03 ms response times and a 240 Hz refresh rate, among other features.

RedMagic has launched a new gaming controller. This is designed to simplify controlling video games on smartphones and offers numerous input options.

The FW5 are new and completely wireless earphones from FiiO, aimed at audiophile customers. A Qualcomm QCC5141 chip is installed and the battery life is said to be long.

The KO II is a portable, battery-powered multi-track sampler and sequencer, allowing users to build entire songs using audio samples recorded or transferred to the device and applying various effects to them.

The latest mid-range smartphones from Honor can scarcely be overlooked, as Honor uses a rounded display, a partially multi-colored back and camera modules in a peculiar format. Thanks to fast Snapdragon chips and powerful camera hardware, the Honor 100 series also offers an interesting price-performance ratio.

Radxa has refreshed the ROCK 5B, a single-board computer (SBC) powered by the Rockchip RK3588. Now available as the Rock 5B Blue Edition, the SBC starts at just US$79.50, making it significantly cheaper than the original model.

NiPoGi, a sister brand of Kamrui that operates in the United States, has revealed a new mini PC. Called the NiPoGi AK1 Plus, the unit features the newly released Intel N97 processor. Besides the CPU, the other specs of the tiny PC are good too.

Partaker B21, a mini PC initially launched in 2021, has been refreshed with newer hardware. The latest version is available with the Intel Core 13th Gen processors and Nvidia RTX 4070. In addition, there are other upgrades to the internals.

Haier, a Chinese brand best known for home appliances, has launched a mini PC. While this isn't the company's first take on tiny desktops, it's the most solid one yet. The brand-new Haier Yunyue mini H12 features an Intel Core i5-12450H with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. It's priced at CNY2299, which is around US$323.

Insta360 has released the Ace and Ace Pro, a pair of action cameras designed to take on DJI and GoPro's best efforts. Not only do the Insta360 Ace and Insta360 Ace Pro contain large camera sensors, but they also have 16:9 viewfinder displays that can be moved about freely.

The MediaTek Dimensity 8300 has been officially unveiled for premium smartphones. It features a tri-cluster Arm V9 CPU, an Arm Mali-G615 MC6 GPU, a 780 APU and LPDDR5X 8533 memory. It will debut later this year alongside the Redmi K70.

With the Lenovo X16, Lenovo is offering new, completely wireless headphones. These are available at a very affordable price and, according to IPX4, are designed to withstand demanding environmental conditions, meaning they can also be worn during sports without any problems.

A new, alternative casing for the ROG Ally promises better cooling. According to the manufacturer, this is reflected in higher performance, as the APU reportedly requires less throttling.

A Tesla executive commented that the company will only deliver the first ten Cybertrucks at the November 30 delivery event. This is less than the 30 delivered to customers at the Model 3 delivery event back in 2017, reiterating Tesla's Cybertruck production woes.

Fisker announced that the PEAR will bring two new in-cabin features to its EV line-up. MediaTek has unveiled its first-ever Radio Frequency System-On-Chip (RFSOC), the T600. It is manufactured on TSMC's 6 nm process and uses one Cortex-A35 CPU core.

MediaTek has announced two new Wi-Fi 7-ready chips, the Filogic 860 and 360. The former is a standalone device complete with its own 3-core CPU, whereas the latter is reserved for smartphones/laptops/tablets and other IoT devices.
