Realme has unveiled its Realme 14x smartphone in India. It arrives as the direct successor to the Realme 13x. The company’s latest smartphone is a rebranded version of the China-bound Realme V60 Pro, which means it has the same features as the V60 Pro. Realme packs a 6,000 mAh battery into the 14x smartphone that supports 45 W wired charging.
Under the hood, the 5G-enabled smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset paired with up to 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. Speaking about software, it runs Android 14-based Realme UI 5.0 out of the box, and the company promised two major OS updates (Android 15 and 16) and 36 months of Realme UI updates. However, this is not as robust as Samsung’s Galaxy A16 5G (curr. $252 on Amazon), which comes with six years of software support.
This new Realme phone has a 6.67-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1604 x 720 pixels, 625 nits peak brightness, and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It does have an IP68 + IP69 water and dust resistance rating and comes in Crystal Black, Golden Glow, and Jewel Red colorways. The device measures 7.94 mm (0.31 inches) thick and weighs 197 grams (0.21 lbs).
Furthermore, it has a dual rear camera array consisting of a 50 MP OV50D primary camera and an unspecified secondary sensor. On the front, it has an 8 MP shooter for selfies and video chats. Other features of the 14x include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a SonicWave Water Ejection feature, Bluetooth 5.3, WiFi 2.4/5 GHz, and 5G connectivity.
The Realme 14x costs INR 14,999 ($175/€170) for the base 6 GB + 128 GB model, and the 8 GB + 128 GB variant is priced at INR 15,999 ($190/€180). It is now available via Realme’s official website, Flipkart, and other authorized retailers.
