Realme has certified a new Android smartphone that reportedly looks exactly like the new 14x. However, this version is compromised in virtually every aspect of that device's specs by comparison. Then again, that means the upcoming handset should not cost much more than $100 on its launch.

Realme's 14x has 5G, a 50MP main rear camera and a 6,000mAh battery to go with its flagship-grade IP68/69-rated durability, yet costs as little as INR 15,999 (~$185) on Amazon.in with 8GB of RAM today. Now, it seems its updated "Diamond Design" rear panel is to feature in another 2025 device soon.

The RMX5020 has appeared in a new Federal Communications Commission (FCC) leak, registering as an upcoming smartphone with connectivity that tops out at 4G/LTE.

It is also described as having a 5,180mAh battery (a spec looking more and more old-fashioned by the minute), although it will apparently have the 14x' 45W wired charging spec.

It is also linked to the 14x' looks, and will also ostensibly have just 2 rear lenses despite its Samsung Galaxy S24-like camera hump. Nevertheless, all the evidence thus far suggests that it should hit the market at INR 9,999 (~$115) or less (like this 5G-free Narzo N61 on Amazon).

All in all, it seems Realme's Narzo or Note sub-brands are about to get a new member soon.
