The Magic7 Pro has now reached Europe and the UK, albeit with slightly different hardware from its Chinese release at the end of October. To recap, Honor replaced the Magic6 Pro (curr. $818 on Amazon) with a device that combined a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset with a 5,850 mAh silicon-carbon (Si/C) battery and a 6.8-inch AMOLED display.
While Qualcomm's latest flagship display remains, the device's 5,850 mAh Si/C battery does not. Instead, Honor has included a smaller 5,270 mAh Si/C battery, which still supports 80 W wireless and 100 W wired charging. Meanwhile, the large curved display maintains a 2,800 x 1,280-pixel native resolution, as well as 1,600 nits full panel brightness, 5,000 nits peak brightness and 4,320 Hz PWM dimming.
The Magic7 Pro has also reached other markets with an unchanged camera system. Thus, Honor is hoping to set the device apart from its flagship competition via a 50 MP and 1/1.3-inch primary camera with an f/1.4-f/2.0 variable aperture. Moreover, the Magic7 Pro utilises 50 MP front-facing, 50 MP ultra-wide-angle and 200 MP telephoto cameras. Please note that the latter is capable of 3x optical zoom, despite Honor's insistence that the device offers an 'AI Super Zoom' up to 100x.
The Magic7 Pro will be available today across Europe and the UK with starting prices of €1,299 and £1,099.99, respectively. It is worth noting that Honor will include a MagicPad 2 tablet as a complimentary gift in the UK, but a €300 discount and a 100 W wired charger in the Eurozone. It seems that the company is still providing a £300 early bird voucher in the UK, too. Please see Honor's website for full launch details.
