Xiaomi has now revealed all key details about the Poco M7 Pro 5G, which it has been teasing for some time on social media. Incidentally, the Poco M7 Pro 5G is the first member in the series too. However, we suspect that Xiaomi will expand the series with non-Pro and 4G variants in due course.
Ultimately, the Poco M7 Pro 5G is a cross between the Redmi Note 14 5G and the variant that Xiaomi sells exclusively in China. Thus, Xiaomi equips the Poco M7 Pro 5G with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display that outputs at 1080p with a 120 Hz refresh rate and 2,100 nits peak brightness. Moreover, the device find itself with a MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra chipset and a 5,110 mAh battery that supports 45 W wired charging.
Furthermore, Xiaomi has included an optically stabilised Sony LYT-600 primary camera that outputs at 50 MP, while also providing a 26 mm equivalent focal length and a 1/1.95-inch optical format. On top of that, the Poco M7 Pro 5G contains a 2 MP auxiliary camera, just like the Chinese Redmi Note 14. Conversely, it features the 20 MP front-facing camera from the Redmi Note 14 5G that debuted a few days ago in India and is due to reach Europe soon.
In short, the Poco M7 Pro 5G is a Redmi Note 14 in disguise. The Poco M7 Pro 5G will go on sale in India from December 20 with a choice between Lavender Frost, Lunar Dust and Olive Twilight finishes. At launch, the device will start at INR 14,999 (~$177) with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. Alternatively, Flipkart will be selling the device with 2 GB more RAM and twice as much storage for INR 16,999 (~$200). International availability remains unknown at this stage, though.
