AOC has brought one of its latest Gen 3 QD-OLED gaming monitors to the US. Available for under $800, the Agon Pro AG326UD combines 4K and 165 Hz visuals with a longer manufacturer warranty than many competitors.

Over three months have passed since AOC released the Agon Pro AG326UD across Europe and the UK. Now, the monitor has reached the US, albeit for slightly more than its European and UK counterparts, taxes excluded.

To recap, the Agon Pro AG326UD is one of an increasing number of 32-inch gaming monitors that use a Gen 3 QD-OLED panel from Samsung Display with a reduced refresh rate. For reference, other examples are the Gigabyte MO32U and MSI's MAG 321UP (curr. $779.99 on Amazon). Fundamentally, both monitors offer the same features, including the Agon Pro AG326UD.

Consequently, the Agon Pro AG326UD outputs at 4K (3,840 x 2,160) and 165 Hz with 0.03 ms GtG response times. By contrast, slightly 32-inch QD-OLED gaming monitors complement the same native resolution with a faster 240 Hz refresh rate, such as the Samsung Odyssey OLED G8 G80SD. Moreover, the VESA ClearMR 9000 and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certified monitor contains the following I/O:

  • 1x 3.5 mm jack
  • 2x 8 W speakers
  • 1x DisplayPort 1.4
  • 2x HDMI 2.1
  • 3x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A (5 Gbit/s)
  • 1x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-B (5 Gbit/s)

Furthermore, AOC has integrated an adjustable stand and 100 x 100 mm VESA mounts for using an external stand. Meanwhile, the Agon Pro AG326UD comes with four years of warranty, including a 'zero dead pixel guarantee' that lasts the entire warranty period. On top of that, AOC includes a year's worth of accidental damage coverage, but only one incident per monitor. Currently, the Agon Pro AG326UD can be ordered through Microcenter for $799.99, which is about $50 more than the monitor costs elsewhere at current exchange rates.
