Huawei Nova 13 and 13 Pro arrive in Europe with 60MP selfie camera, 100W fast charging and €549 starting price
The Huawei Nova 13 series was announced in mid-October in China. Huawei has finally confirmed details regarding its launch in Europe. In Germany, the Huawei Nova 13 will launch with 12 GB of RAM and 256 of storage for €549 (US$576), whilst the Nova 13 Pro will come with 512 of storage and cost €699 (US$733). Huawei hasn’t revealed a fixed release date for the phones.
The two Nova 13 models mainly differ in their design and camera setup. The Nova 13 features a flat frame and a flat 6.7-inch display, whereas the Pro model uses a 6.76-inch screen and a back cover with heavily rounded edges on the left and right. Both devices boast a 120Hz OLED panel with an integrated invisible fingerprint scanner.

Although both phones feature a 60MP f/2.4 selfie camera with a focal length of just 17 mm and 4K video capability, the Nova 13 Pro offers an additional 8MP f/2.2 portrait camera with a 35 mm-equivalent focal length of 52 mm. The 50MP main shooter has a fixed aperture of f/1.9. By contrast, the Nova 13 Pro’s main camera has a variable aperture of f/1.4 to f/4.0. Both models are equipped with an 8MP f/2.2 ultrawide camera, but the 12MP f/2.4 telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom is reserved for the Pro model.
The 5,000 mAh battery can charge at up to 100 watts over USB-C, meaning the phones can go from 3 to 50% in just 9 minutes. To lower costs, Huawei hasn’t opted to exclude wireless charging and a waterproof chassis. Huawei also hasn’t released any information regarding how long the software support will be for the Nova 13 and Nova 13 Pro.
