Samsung Exynos to play a significant part in Galaxy S26 smartphones
Samsung is reportedly just over a month away from unveiling the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus and Galaxy S25 Ultra globally. Nonetheless, speculation about what the company may have in store for the generation after that is already well underway. For example, there were recent suggestions that Samsung may even consider adopting MediaTek Dimensity chipsets to keep costs down.
To that end, it may have already employed a similar tactic for this year's Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra and Galaxy Tab S10 Plus (curr. $824.99 on Amazon) tablets. However, leaker @Jukanlosreve implies that this may not actually be the case. Instead, the X (formerly Twitter) account reports that Samsung will utilise Exynos chipsets across the entire Galaxy S26 lineup.
For reference, @Jukanlosreve included the words 'significantly' in quotes. However, they have not attributed this information to a particular source. At any rate, the Galaxy S26 series could be one of several high-end Samsung smartphones that could move away from Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets within the next year or so. Similarly, there are suggestions that an increased reliance on Exynos chipsets could reach the Galaxy Z Flip7 too, not just its cheaper Fan Edition counterpart.
