According to a new report, Samsung intends to release various magnetic accessories for the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus and Galaxy S25 Ultra. While it is unclear whether these are Qi2 compliant, it seems that Samsung will soon be apeing Apple and its MagSafe line.

It seems that Android smartphone manufacturers are slowly waking up to the world of MagSafe-like wireless charging. For context, only the HMD Skyline (curr. $499.99 on Amazon) supports the Qi2 standard. However, there has been evidence that Samsung could adopt Qi2 for the Galaxy S25 series.

To that end, Roland Quandt has now shared new information about Samsung adopting magnets within its next flagships. According to the leaker, Samsung will offer a range of first-party cases with embedded magnets, much like Apple does with its MagSafe cases. Reportedly, the company will offer what Quandt describes as a 'Clear Cover' to not just the Galaxy S25 Ultra, but also the cheaper Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25 Plus.

Moreover, Samsung may also be preparing to release a new wireless car charger, as well as an updated 3-in-1 wireless charger and a simpler single-device option. On top of that, Samsung may have even developed a magnetic card holder of sorts like Apple's 'Wallet for MagSafe. Presumably, Samsung will unveil all these accessories next month alongside the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus and Galaxy S25 Ultra.
