Honor 100 GT leaks with up-to-date design and RAM/storage configurations
Honor recycled the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 in 2023 to release the 90 GT as a sub-flagship performance smartphone; now, the OEM is projected to do the same with the 8 Gen 3 in late 2024 or early 2025.
The resulting device is thought to launch as the "100 GT", or, possibly, simply "Honor GT", as hinted by the well-known leaker Digital Chat Station. Now, the tipster also asserts that it will have the 100 series' dual rear camera hump, just without the unusual double surrounds.
Instead, Honor's next GT is believed to have a much cleaner, more angular camera hump that contains at least 1 "50MP OIS" lens. The smartphone's allegedly enlarged 100W battery might be enclosed in a flat-edged chassis that also packs 12GB to 16GB of RAM with 256GB, 512GB or 1TB internal storage options.
Then again, the "Honor GT" might also come with drawbacks that highlight its sub-premium nature. The frame that holds it together is supposedly made of plastic rather than metal, and its display, while supporting the flat 1.5K and ultrasonic fingerprint sensor upgrade trends, is also now said to have LTPS rather than higher-end LTPO technology.
