First Intel Core 200H processor showcased by new Honor laptop releases
Yesterday, Honor introduced its X300 smartphone series, which consists of standard, Pro and Ultra models. For reference, the Honor 300 Pro and Honor 300 Ultra both use what is now a last-generation Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset. However, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 can also be found in many current flagships, including the Galaxy S24 Ultra and even Honor's Magic6 Pro (curr. $849 on Amazon).
It is a similar story with the 2025 versions of the company's MagicBook X14 Plus and MagicBook X16 Plus laptops too, which are also exclusive to China for the time being. On the face of it, there is little new to discuss about either laptop. For instance, both appear to contain the same overall design and display hardware as last year's models.

However, the MagicBook X14 Plus 2025 and MagicBook X16 Plus 2025 are the first laptops released with Intel Core 200 processors. Specifically, Honor has equipped the pair with the Core 5 220H, which is one of several Raptor Lake Refresh processors that Intel has planned. Ultimately though, the Core 200H series are 13th Gen Core-H series processors by another name rather than a new Arrow Lake, Lunar Lake or Meteor Lake parts.
In this case, the Core 5 220H reads as though it is a re-branded Core i5-13600H, albeit with a 100 MHz higher CPU boost clock speed. As such, Honor describes the processor as containing 12 cores, 16 threads, a 4.9 GHz CPU boost clock and an iGPU with 80 Execution Units (EUs) at its disposal. Currently, Honor's first Raptor Lake Refresh laptops start at CNY 4,699 (~$645) in China; there is no word yet on international availability, though.
