Maingear x Fractal Design: New Pro WS workstation is based on stylish North XL case
Maingear asserts that its latest custom workstation is anything but utilitarian, but exudes "elegance and power in every detail" thanks to its North XL case from Fractal Design.
The Pro WS is rated to have "whisper-quiet" ventilation, especially if it is configured with a mesh panel rather than the one made of tinted tempered glass, and to be potentially future-proof with its choice of graphics, which ranges from the NVIDIA RTX 4060 as standard to dual RTX A6000s - although that option costs an additional $15,587.
It also, of course, comes with the North series' signature walnut-slat front panel, backed to fit into any environment. The WS also ships with Noctua fans and up to 128GB of Kingston Fury Beast DDR5 RAM.
The new pre-build has Pro WS AMD and Pro WS Intel variants, the former of which comes with a choice of the Ryzen 7 9700X or 9 9900X, although the latter's options range from the i9-14900K to the Core Ultra 285K processors.
The Pro WS has been released alongside the Pro WS Max with a Define 7 XL case also from Fractal Design and the Pro RS with the honeycomb-patterned SilverStone RM52. They start at $2,751 and can be ordered from now.
Alternatively, those who want to build their own PC with the same esthetics can grab the North case for $109.99 right now on Amazon.
