Maingear unveils Crimson Desert prebuilt PC powered by AMD Ryzen 7 9850X3D and RX 9070 XT

On the Crimson Desert release date, Maingear has announced a prebuilt PC that celebrates the anticipated open-world game. Artwork on the redecorated case's multiple sides honors the hero Kliff and the sweeping landscapes of Pywel. Exceeding system requirements for the title, the desktop pairs an AMD Ryzen 7 9850X3D CPU with an RX 9070 XT graphics card.
30 of the Maingear Crimson Desert Limited Edition PC are available. Buyers only have until quantities run out or April 2nd to reserve the configuration. At an asking price of $4,499, the key specs are as follows:
- Case: Maingear Rush (Crimson Desert Limited Edition)
- GPU: AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT (Crimson Desert Sapphire Nitro+ Edition)
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9850X3D
- Motherboard: ASRock Phantom Gaming X870E Nova WiFi
- Memory: 64GB RGB DDR5 6000MT/s (2x32GB)
- Storage: 2TB T-Force A440 Gen4 M.2 NVMe SSD
- Cooling: Maingear EPIC 360mm AIO
- PSU: MSI 850W
All purchases include a redemption code for the Crimson Desert Deluxe Edition.

To achieve 60 fps at 4K, Pearl Abyss suggests a Ryzen 7 7700X or an Intel i5-13600K processor. Maingear has opted for the more powerful 8-core, 16-thread 9850X3D, which is widely considered the best gaming CPU. It's 96MB of 3D V-Cache should help prevent stuttering while exploring never-ending landscapes.
How a GPU affects Crimson Desert performance
Buyers may be disappointed not to see an Nvidia RTX 5090 in this high-end gaming PC. Still, the Sapphire Nitro+ Edition RX 9070 XT is an obvious match for the prebuilt system. In February, AMD announced a bundle headlined by a Crimson Desert-themed version of the RDNA 4 GPU. The graphics card displays similar artwork to the exterior of the system on its Quick Connect MagniPlate.
Even if not top-end, the RX 9070 XT, with its 16GB of VRAM, meets the benchmarks for the game’s Ultra preset. Likewise, the Crimson Desert PC’s 64GB of DDR RAM is far above the minimum system requirements. Given the effects of the memory shortage, the modules contribute to the desktop’s lofty price.
Despite graphics wrapping around the tempered-glass chassis, components remain visible. Those include an RGB-illuminated 360mm liquid cooler and a trio of fans. Less noticeable is the 2TB Gen M.2 NVMe SSD installed on the X870E motherboard.
Commemorative prebuilts are now routine, but Maingear expects its Crimson Desert Limited Edition PC to turn some heads. Judging by pre-order sales for the Pearl Abyss title, the desktop may sell out quickly.
