Honor is now thought to have a new tablet to go with its next Android smartphone in December 2024. It might be the first of its kind to launch with MediaTek's latest mid-range processor. The possible member of the GT series is also tipped to have prolonged battery life despite its relatively compact form-factor.

One of Honor's next products might debut as a vanilla counterpart to the pre-existing Tablet GT Pro, although its smaller 11.5-inch display might be LCD rather than OLED.

It could, however, retain the relatively heightened 144Hz refresh rate of its putative Pro sibling, conferred by the the Dimensity 8350 SoC rather than the higher-end Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 (which also features on the MagicPad 2 that is now available for as little as €499.90 on Amazon.de).

Then again, it could make the "Pad GT" the world's first tablet with that new MediaTek silicon. The device is also tipped to be exceptionally thin despite the size of its battery.

In any case, it is thought to kick-start a new and more aggressive product strategy on the Chinese market, as with the supposedly upcoming Honor laptop.

In the meantime, the new slate thought to debut alongside the next GT-series smartphone is now thought to bring a matching tablet with it in December 2024.
