Lenovo has introduced a new tablet in China. Called the Yoga Pad Pro AI, it packs the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, sports a large 10,200 mAh battery, and has stylus support.

The 2024 Lenovo Yoga Pad Pro AI has made its debut in China as a new tablet that's geared towards productivity and entertainment. Under the hood, it has the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, a last-gen flagship SoC from Qualcomm that's paired with 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512 GB of UFS 4.0 storage. According to Lenovo, this configuration makes the device 30% better in overall performance when compared to its predecessor. It's also said to be 98% better in AI performance.

Speaking of which, Lenovo has integrated multiple AI features into the new Yoga Pad Pro AI. It runs on what the company calls ZUXOS, which is seemingly a China-exclusive skin on top of Android. This skin has a feature similar to Google's Circle to Search and an AI-powered assistant that can summarize documents, generate pictures, and offer other AI perks.

Besides that, the new Lenovo Yoga Pad Pro AI comes with stylus support. With the company's stylus pen, the tablet is said to offer the same experience as writing on pen and paper. As for the screen, it sports a 12.7-inch PureSight Pro display with 2944x1840 pixels resolution, 144 Hz refresh rate, 900 nits peak brightness rating, and wide DCI-P3 color coverage.

Lenovo also claims that the 2024 Yoga Pad Pro AI can offer a PC-level office experience with dedicated support for Xmind and WPS Office. Another big highlight of the tablet is the large 10,200 mAh battery. The company says that it can deliver 15.1 hours of continuous video playback, and with support for 68W fast charging, the tab can go from 0% to 80% in just 45 minutes (100W Anker Prime charger curr. $45.99 on Amazon).

Other highlights of the tablet include a 6-speaker audio setup with Harman Kardon tuning and support for Dolby Vision and Atmos, a dual-camera setup on the back, and a sleek design. The Lenovo Yoga Pad Pro AI is currently on pre-sale in China, with the introductory price being CNY 4,799 (about $660). There's a non-AI variant available, which has the same core specs but doesn't come with the bundled stylus pen and keyboard. It goes for CNY 3,299 (around $453).
