Google's Circle to Search comes to latest Honor flagship phones
The Honor 200 and Magic V3 smartphones are getting a new AI feature, Google's Circle to Search. Google first made this feature available for the Samsung Galaxy S24 series and Pixel 8 lineup, and it later reached other devices. As you may already know, it allows you to search for anything that's on the screen by circling, highlighting, or simply tapping the object.
By partnering with Google to bring the AI-enhanced feature to its two popular smartphone lines, Honor wants to highlight its commitment to making advanced features more accessible. Of course, this isn't the only AI feature that's available on the Honor 200 series and Magic V3.
The Magic V3, in particular, comes with AI Eraser, a photo editing tool that makes it easy to remove unwanted objects from images. Then, there is Face Translation, which allows users to translate conversations in real-time. Honor also highlights its Notes tools, which are geared to enhance users' productivity.
Other than that, Honor's MagicOS 8.0.1 brings intent-based Magic Capsule and Magic Portal. They aim to make interactions with smartphones feel more natural. As for the phones that feature these AI-enhanced features, the company says that its Honor 200 series has been a success.
That lineup made its global debut in June of this year. The Magic V3, on the other hand, is the slimmest foldable phone available in the market. It's also available in the global market.
