An Apple AirTag is usually equipped with a CR2032 button battery, which, depending on usage, provides a runtime of around twelve months before needing to be replaced. The new Elevation Lab TimeCapsule replaces this battery with two much larger AA batteries.
In conjunction with two long-life Energizer Ultimate lithium batteries, a runtime of around ten years is said to be possible, although the actual runtime will depend heavily on how the AirTag is used and which AA batteries are installed. The additional housing also protects the AirTag from shocks and water ingress. While the AirTag itself is "only" IP67-certified, the TimeCapsule has IP69 certification, meaning that it can withstand powerful streams of water and submersion.

Details here
Only four screws need to be loosened in order to open the housing and replace the batteries. The disadvantage is that the TimeCapsule makes the AirTag considerably larger, making the product more suitable for bags and backpacks and less suitable for key rings. The housing measures 11.3 x 3.9 x 1.9 centimeters.
Price and availability
The Elevation Lab TimeCapsule is available in the manufacturer's online store for $19.99, while a pack of four costs $39.99. Elevation Lab also ships to Canada, the UK and Europe, but the prices quoted do not include shipping costs of around $15 nor potential import fees.
