Although primarily known for its chargers and power banks, Ugreen also offers a wide range of other tech accessories. The company recently released the Finder Slim on Amazon, a new card-style AirTag alternative, similar to products from many other brands, such as Anker's eufy.
The Ugreen Finder Slim is designed in the shape of a credit card and measures just 1.7 mm (0.07 in) thin, allowing it to slip effortlessly into smaller personal items such as wallets and card holders. Of course, it can also be used for tracking larger items like travel bags and suitcases. Until 1 February, Ugreen is offering a 10% launch discount on the recommended retail price of $26.90.
As with the original Apple AirTag and many other less-expensive options, the tracking function utilises Apple’s Find My network. The Ugreen Finder Slim may thus only appeal to users of iPhones, iPads or Macs. The tracker card can be located using the Find My app or Siri and features an alarm, up to 80 dB loud, for drawing attention.
According to Ugreen, the Finder Slim also boasts a built-in battery capable of lasting up to 12 months. The battery can be recharged via a magnetic charging cable. This feature significantly extends the product’s lifespan compared with non-rechargeable card-style AirTag alternatives – great for both the environment and your wallet.
