Apple iPhone SE 4 rumored to feature impressive camera setup according to supply chain information
Apple's iPhone SE lineup has been sitting on the sidelines for far too long. That said, a surfeit of recent reports have hinted at a Spring 2025 launch for the iPhone SE 4. We already know quite a bit regarding the upcoming budget flagship, and now, a fresh scoop from a Korean publication has popped up, adding validity to multiple prior rumors.
In the report, ET News has revealed that LG Innotek is poised to be the principal supplier for the upcoming iPhone SE 4's front and rear camera setups. Moreover, the report adds that the budget iPhone will boast a single 48 MP rear camera as well as a 12 MP TrueDepth front camera, confirming the camera setup as well as Face ID support, both of which have been rumored repeatedly in the past. Moreover, mass production for these components is reportedly already underway in Vietnam.
With a launch date set for sometime in the Spring of next year, the iPhone SE 4 is expected to boast an LG-sourced 6.06-inch OLED display, a relatively modern A-series SoC paired with 8 GB of memory, USB-C, and Face ID. The pricing, unsurprisingly, will be a crucial determining factor for the device, but considering the much-improved specifications, a noticeable price hike is far from unlikely.
