Core specs of OnePlus 13R leak ahead of the official launch

OnePlus confirmed that the Ace 5 series will become official in China within this month. While there's no word on the exact date, the launch event is expected to happen soon. Ahead of the impending launch, the core specs of the standard phone, which is expected to be released in the global market as the OnePlus 13R, have leaked.

This leak comes from the Digital Chat Station, a reliable Weibo tipster. According to the leaker's latest report, the soon-to-be OnePlus 13R will sport a 6.78-inch BOE X2 LTPO display with ultra-thin bezels and 1.5K resolution. Like its other sibling, the OnePlus 13, it will be a straight screen, and for protection, it's reported to feature "crystal shield glass."

Digital Chat Station adds that the phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, which OnePlus has already confirmed. With a recent teaser post, the company even claims that this SoC can deliver Gen 3.5-like performance. That is, the brand says that the phone will offer better performance than the others with the same chipset.

The report further shares that the OnePlus 13R could be powered by a 6,285 mAh or 6,415 mAh battery with 80 W fast charging support (140 W Anker 737 power bank curr. $79.99 on Amazon). As for the build, Digital Chat Station reports that the phone will sport a metal body, while there will be a cyan color variant with a ceramic body.
