OnePlus China is rumored to break with tradition and launch successors to the Ace 3 and Ace 3 Pro at the same time during a possibly imminent event that might finally confirm that both smartphones are derivatives of the brand's most recent Android flagship.
The Ace 5 and 5 Pro do look almost identical to their Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered sibling in freshly leaked physical promotional material, freshly posted to Weibo by the tipster Experience more.
All 3 devices have black and white colorways in common with the 13, which has been confirmed to launch in marble-effect Black Eclipse and smooth white Arctic Dawn glass in addition to "luxurious micro-fiber" Midnight Ocean vegan leather on its impending Winter Launch Event worldwide.
However, the Ace 5 might also come in a shade of green (looking paler in this leak compared to its last), while the 5 Pro's third SKU seems to be the series' only purple option.
As the Ace 5 (and not the 5 Pro, unfortunately) is also allegedly going global as a successor to the 12R, that member of the "13 Series" might also have the same white, black and green colorways.
The latter is thought to be the one finished in ceramic rather than glass, as with the white version of the 5 Pro.
Finally, neither smartphone seems to have the 13's Hasselblad logo in their camera hump, although they do both boast the upgrade to a slim, flat-edged frame that may or may not conceal massive batteries across the board.
