Xiaomi Poco X7 Pro emerges as possible Redmi K80 global alternative with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3
Earlier today, renders showcasing the rumoured Poco X7 surfaced online. For context, the publication of these render images followed the appearance of the same device on Geekbench with a Dimensity 7025 or Dimensity 7025 Ultra chipset. In fact, the Poco X7 is expected to be a Poco re-brand of Xiaomi's recent entry-level Redmi Note 14 smartphone.
As its name suggests, the Poco X7 should directly replace the Poco X6, which debuted this January with the Poco X6 Pro (curr. $321 on Amazon). Unsurprisingly, it appears that Xiaomi also has a Poco X6 Pro successor in the works. For reference, the Poco X6 Pro is essentially a tweaked Redmi K70E that Xiaomi sells exclusively in China.

Details here
So far, 91mobiles and Sudhanshu Ambhore have only shared official-looking images of the Poco X7 Pro that we have embedded throughout. Nonetheless, some information can be gleaned. For instance, Xiaomi has included two rear-facing cameras, of which is a 50 MP sensor aided by optical image stabilisation (OIS).
Presumably, the Poco X7 Pro is another reworked Redmi K series smartphone. Given that there is no Redmi K80E, that would leave the Redmi K80 and Redmi K80 Pro as potential candidates. However, the Redmi K80 Pro features three rear-facing cameras, which rules it out.
As a result, we suspect that the Poco X7 Pro will share most of its hardware with the Redmi K80, potentially even its Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. On the basis of this year's release, we suspect that Xiaomi intends to introduce the Poco X7 and Poco X7 Pro simultaneously. Unfortunately, no other details have emerged in this regard yet.
