Huawei has already confirmed that it plans to host a global launch event on December 12. However, it has now gone a step further by outlining that almost half a dozen new releases will be in attendance early next week. Unfortunately, the Mate XT is conspiciously absent, despite being unveiled almost three months ago in China.
Instead, Huawei will use its 'Unfold the Classic' event to showacse the Mate X6, which landed in the company's home market only last week. Incidentally, it seems that Huawei has until 2026 before it needs to challenge Samsung with a global tri-fold smartphone. Surprisingly, the December 12 global launch event will not be a repeat of the one hosted in China at the end of November.
As the images below show, Huawei has also confirmed that the Mate X6y will be joined by the Nova 13 and Nova 13 Pro, which initially launched at the end of October in China. Moreover, Huawei will complement these smartphone releases with the FreeBuds Pro 4 and a new colour option for the existing FreeClip open earbuds (curr. $195 on Amazon). As a result, it remains unclear when Huawei will offer the Mate 70 series globally, which it sells as the Mate 70, Mate 70 Pro, Mate 70 Pro Plus and Mate 70 RS Ultimate Design in China.
