While the Redmi Note 8 Pro received the Android 10 update months ago, the regular Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8T remain stuck on Android Pie, albeit on MIUI 11. A new update is now been sent out to the two phones, but also doesn't bring the much-awaited Android 10.

Samsung's global wearables shipments grew by 71% for the first quarter of 2020

The latest IDC report on the wearables market (for the first quarter of 2020 (1Q2020)) shows that its watch sector declined. However, this shortfall was addressed by gains made by the audio and band categories. Apple remained the #1 brand in terms of shipments, although Samsung posted the greatest year-on-year (YoY) growth.

A Samsung Galaxy Book S powered by the Intel Lakefield Core i5-L16G7 processor has popped up on Samsung Canada's online store making this the first x86-based Galaxy Book S. The Lakefield-based Galaxy Book S sports a similar design and spec sheet as the ARM-based variant with the exception of Gigabit LTE connectivity and a shorter battery runtime. Update: Samsung has now officially announced the Galaxy Book S powered by an Intel Core processor with Hybrid technology along with pricing info.

According to the leak, Warhol will feature Zen 3-based parts utilizing a 7nm manufacturing process and offering PCIe4 support. The series would seemingly slot between Vermeer and Raphael in AMD’s roadmap.

If AMD manages this feat, the PC competitive landscape could drastically change in favor of team red, leaving Intel way behind struggling to make the jump to 10 nm. However, these may as well be just unfounded rumors, as a production shift from 7 nm to 5 nm on such short notice may not prove to be that easy.

Benchmarks for the upcoming Ryzen 4000 desktop APUs including the Ryzen 3 4200G, Ryzen 5 PRO 4400G and Ryzen 7 PRO 4700G spotted in the 3DMark database

The 3DMark scores for the upcoming Ryzen 4000 desktop APUs show solid performance gains over the older models as far as CPU cores go, but the iGPU gains are quite minimal since the chips essentially use the same Vega cores from last year.
