A thicker case, proven keyboard design and better cooling: That is the latest MacBook Pro in a nutshell. It seems that Apple has finally listened to its users and the press by optimising its largest high-end laptop for professionals. We put the flagship model through its paces in this detailed review.

At $2,399 for the base model, and $3,499 as spec’d, the 16-inch MacBook Pro is for those who need their laptop to be productive — it’s a pro machine through and through. I would advise against spending this much money on a computer if all you’re going to use it for is Netflix and word-processing. For that, Apple has some great notebooks that are far cheaper and better suited to those tasks. If you want something slightly smaller with only a little less power, the 13-inch Pro is a great option. If you want a true thin-and-light machine, the MacBook Air might suit you. I enjoyed my time with the 16-inch MacBook Pro. It continues to be my work computer for everything from researching to writing to video editing. With fantastic performance, decent battery life, a convenient form factor, and a brilliant screen, there’s not much to dislike. It’s far better than its predecessor, and if you need a workhorse laptop running macOS, look no further.

The MacBook Pro 16-inch isn't just the most powerful MacBook Apple's ever made – it's also the best. By listening to its customers and taking on board the criticisms of previous models, Apple has made a MacBook Pro that improves on nearly every aspect of the iconic workstation. If you have the budget for it, this is one of the best laptops you can buy.

The 16-inch MacBook Pro is, unsurprisingly, the best Mac laptop to date – and it's more than capable of taking on the best of the PC bunch too.

Apple's 16" MacBook Pro has been out for around 6 months now, so we take a look at where it stands in the Apple lineup, especially now that the 2020 MacBook Air and 13" Pro models are now out as well. We talk about the new Magic Keyboard, and how much the newly improved speakers and microphones have mattered since we started using it. We discuss a lot of the changes and new features compared to the.. We also take some time to compare the performance of this 16" MacBook Pro to the 10th-Gen 13" Pro.

That’s what “Pro” means to me: that ability to get things done with one computer, with a single laptop. You pay for the privilege, and you have to buy into Apple’s vision of things like ports and touch, but I suspect many will be willing to do that now the heat, battery life, and keyboard questions have been settled. The 16-inch MacBook Pro looked like a great notebook on day one, and five months later the shine hasn’t worn off.

If you’ve ever been a Windows laptop user for any amount of time, you’ve probably heard a lot of good things coming from the Mac camp. MacBook users will swear by their device’s hardware and experience, justifying the higher price tags with the same kind of intangibles and refinements that Apple is so well-known for in the rest of their product lineup.

The 16-inch MacBook Pro has been designed from the ground up, showing ample evidence that Apple has been listening to its creative professionals. It has a bigger, 16:10 display with a higher resolution panel capable of producing both sRGB and DCI-P3 colour profiles accurately. Perhaps the most impressive is the reworking of the thermals, which allows the Core i9-9880H to run at its higher clock speeds for longer, leading to impressive performance, especially under prolonged, sustained loads such as exporting hundreds of super-high-resolution RAW files to JPEG using Adobe Lightroom. For film-makers, FCP X leverages Intel's Quick Sync and the T2 chip to yield impressively video editing and noticeably fast export times, even with 4K files. The new machine manages to tick off all the necessary boxes for creative professionals, making it super easy to recommend.

The 16-inch MacBook Pro (2019) has the keyboard every Apple laptop should have. And I really do hope that Apple brings this keyboard to the 13-inch MacBook Pro and MacBook Air, as superior ergonomic comfort should not be a premium feature. But that's just the way it is for now. There are plenty of other reasons to splurge on this laptop, including its vivid 16-inch display with narrower bezels, amazing audio system and epic battery life.

Starting at Rs 1,99,900, the MacBook is an expensive laptop but packs in a lot of features that make it quite a compelling buy. Existing Mac users, who were unhappy with the keyboard, have got a great reason to upgrade. The ‘Pro’ users will find that the MacBook offers everything that they seek for in a laptop. Apple has improved the MacBook by quite a lot and it is evident in almost every facet of this laptop, which is what makes it the best MacBook money can buy. If you have the cash and are ready to splash, go for it and forget about buying a new laptop for the next five years at least. This MacBook will undoubtedly last long, age well and for Apple’s sake hopefully shed the ‘problem child’ for once and good.

If you want a laptop much more powerful than this, though, in a slim and portable chassis, the MacBook Pro 16in is your only choice. Even Dell’s range of workstation laptops can’t match the top-spec MacBook when it comes to outright power. Objectively, the Dell XPS 15 2019 makes more financial sense, but there’s just no denying the quality of the MacBook Pro 16in. It’s a mighty fine machine, especially for the most demanding of users.

So, here is what I think: If you are professional making money with your videos, photos, software development, IT work that requires a top-of-the-line machine, it is worth splurging on the MacBook Pro 16-inch. If you are someone who is looking to upgrade their old 15-inch MacBook Pro, you will find the new MacBook Pro 16-inch an ideal machine. But for people who don't want a Core i9 or accelerated graphics processing provided by AMD Radeon 5300M or 5500M, the MacBook Pro 16-inch is too pricey. They should stick to their existing laptop, and if an upgrade is required, do so once Apple is out with smaller MacBook Pro with the redesigned keyboard.

In other words, the new 16-inch MacBook Pro is the result of Apple listening and considering the needs of the people that actually use this class of notebooks. It may not be perfect, but it seems like Apple is taking a step in the right direction and that’s worth popping open the bubbly. I can’t wait to see what they will do to the rest of the MacBook line.

Overall, the new MacBook Pro 16-inch gives professional users the raw power they need to be better at their work and maybe even push the limits on what can be achieved on a device that ultimately can go in your backpack. The new MacBook Pro will only cement its position as the go-to device for creative professionals, though it becomes a bit more expensive with the new innards. The MacBook Pro is anyway a very powerful device, so make sure you don’t end up spending too much for extra processing power you will never use.

The MacBook Pro 16-inch is the very best laptop we've tested for creative duties. Its screen, keyboard and performance have all seen sizeable improvements, removing the majority of the flaws seen in previous iterations of Apple's Pro series. This is incredibly expensive, but if you need a laptop to breeze through media tasks, there is no better option than this MacBook Pro.

Apple’s 16-inch MacBook Pro is basically every creative’s dream machine, with a ton of power and a vastly improved keyboard. The larger screen makes it more useful than the 15-inch model it replaces, and it even has decent battery life for a workstation.

The 16-inch MacBook Pro is, unsurprisingly, the best Mac laptop to date. Based on 16 hours experience, I’d say that if you bought either the 2018 or 2019 15-inch model, there’s little reason to upgrade yet – but if you’ve been hanging on, this could the moment to invest in a new MacBook Pro. But for a definite answer, wait for our full review with complete benchmarks including a battery test.

Anyone who remembers the 17-inch model might be concerned that again we’ll be faced with an impractically large, teatray-sized Mac. Thankfully, the 16-inch MacBook Pro is only a smidge larger than the 15-inch model, thanks to slimmer bezels around the screen – and it’s less than 1mm thicker too. On the desk next to my 15-inch MBP, the 16-inch model looks noticeably bigger – but folded down there’s not much in it for size or weight. It’s about the same size/weight as 15.6-inch Windows rivals such as the.

After months of rumours, Apple’s new, subtly redesigned 16-inch MacBook Pro is finally here. The most significant takeaway from my roughly 20 hours with the 16-inch MacBook Pro is the beleaguered ‘Butterfly keyboard’ featured in Apple’s laptops for the past few years will likely be slowly phased out. The tech giant might not have said it outright, but the fact that its highest-end laptop now features a scissor key design that is different from every other device in the MacBook line, leaves the current MacBook Air and 13-inch MacBook Pro in a state of limbo.

Series: The Apple MacBook Pro 16 2019 is the most powerful notebook Apple has ever made. The highlights of the Macbook Pro include a 16-inch Retina display, super-fast processors, next-generation graphics, the largest battery capacity ever in a MacBook Pro, and massive storage. The 16-inch Retina display is the largest Retina display ever in a Mac notebook. It produces 500 nits of brightness for bright whites, while delivering deep blacks thanks to the precise photo alignment of liquid crystal molecules. The P3 wide color gamut allows the screen to display true-to-life images and videos. The thermal architecture in the MacBook Pro has been completely redesigned. It features larger impellers with improved fan blades for optimal airflow and more heat-dispersing fins for more effective cooling. Thanks to the more advanced thermal design, the Intel Core i9 processor with up to 8 cores and 16 threads sustains higher performance for longer periods of time. It also delivers up to 2.1 times the performance of its predecessors, which is a quad-core MacBook Pro.
The 16-inch MacBook Pro uses up to 64 GB 2666 MHz DDR4 RAM for smooth performance. It also has up to 8 TB of SSD storage, which is the most available in any notebook. The AMD Radeon Pro 5000M series delivers the graphics horsepower in a MacBook Pro. The graphics helps the Macbook to be over two times faster than the previous-generation for seamless playback and faster rendering of ultra-high-definition videos. Besides that, the new Magic Keyboard features a refined scissor mechanism with 1 mm of travel for a responsive, comfortable and quiet typing experience. The Touch Bar places powerful shortcuts front and centre, and Touch ID can provide fast authentication. As for audio, the six-speaker sound system produces room-filling wide stereo sound like users have never heard from a notebook before. For a clearer, more natural sound and a half-octave lower range to the bass, it features Dual force-cancelling woofers which also dramatically reduce system vibration. The 16-inch MacBook Pro has the highest-capacity battery Apple has ever put in a notebook. The 100-watt-hour lithium-polymer battery not only powers the larger display and delivers higher maximum sustained power, it also provides longer battery life of up to 11 hours of wireless web browsing and video playback. As a conclusion, the Apple MacBook Pro 16 2019 is a great performance laptop to work on the go. It is catered towards professionals who require high performance hardware and lightweight sleek build. It also does not come cheap, so it is catered towards professionals who have the budget.
