Reviews for the Apple MacBook Pro 16 2023 M3 Pro

93.7% Apple MacBook Pro 16 2023 M3 Pro review - Efficiency before performance | Notebookcheck
The basic version of the new MacBook Pro 16 is equipped with the full version of the Apple M3 Pro, although it doesn't offer much performance compared to the M2 Pro. On the other hand, the entry-level SSD has become faster again, and the maximum SDR brightness gets increased too. In addition, power efficiency improvements allow for an extremely long battery life.

The new M3 series versions of the 14 and 16-inch MacBook Pro have landed, and it hasn’t even been a full year since the M2 series model of the MacBook Pro 16 was released.

MacBook Pro 16-inch (M3 Pro, 2023) hands-on: Back in (Space) Black
Source: Tom's Guide English
The 16-inch MacBook Pros with M-series chip have consistently been among my favorite laptops, and the M3 Pro and M3 Max-driven notebooks look set to continue that trend. Not only do we get the same sleek modern design we've come to love, but we're also getting a fetching new color and a potentially massive boost in performance. Stay tuned for our full review!

Apple M3 Pro 18-Core GPU: Graphics card designed by Apple itself in the Apple M2 Pro SoC and, according to Apple, with all 18 cores. The GPU uses a new architecture and now offers dynamic caching, mesh shading and ray tracing acceleration.

With these GPUs you are able to play modern and demanding games fluently at medium detail settings and HD resolution.

» Further information can be found in our Comparison of Mobile Graphics Cards and the corresponding Benchmark List.

Apple M3 Pro 12-Core: System on a chip (SoC) from Apple with 12 processor cores (6 performance and 6 power cores), an up to 18-core GPU (depending on model) and a 16-core neural engine. Integrated 18 or 36 GB unified memory for CPU and GPU with a 192 bit connection (max 150 GB/s, vs 200 GB/s with the M2 Pro). » Further information can be found in our Comparison of Mobile Processsors.

16.20":

This range for display formats was and is a rarity. It is larger than the general standard of 15 inches, but not yet in the range of large workstations. One usually has higher screen resolutions available, but portability suffers from that.

Apple: Apple is a US company founded in 1976 by Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak and Ronald Wayne. Headquartered in Cupertino, California, the company is known for its innovative products such as the iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch, and manufactures computers and consumer electronics as well as operating systems and application software. Apple is also a leading provider of software and services such as the App Store, iTunes and iCloud.

Apple has earned a reputation as a company that focuses on design and ease of use. As for their notebooks, they are mostly in the high-priced segment, have their own operating system, but also run Windows on the newer Macbooks.

Apple is one of the most valuable companies in the world and has a loyal following of customers and fans. The company also has a strong presence in the entertainment industry, with services like Apple Music and Apple TV+. In 2023, Apple had an approximate 8% market share of global PC sales, ranking it 4th after Lenovo, HP, and Dell.

94.18%: This rating is indeed excellent. There are not many models that are rated better. This can definitely be seen as a purchase recommendation.
