The Honor View30 and View30 Pro 5G have grabbed new updates, as has the Mate 20 Pro. Running Magic UI 3.1 and EMUI 10.1 respectively, the updates will arrive as OTAs.

The Honor View30 and View30 Pro 5G have been upgraded to Magic UI 3.1. The Honor version of EMUI 10.1, Magic UI 3.1 is based on Android 10 and introduces features like multi-window support and Celia, Huawei's voice assistant.

According to multiple posts on Weibo, Honor has pushed V10.1.0.135 to the View30 and V3.1.0.202 for the View30 Pro 5G. These are 1.92 GB and 5.5 GB downloads, respectively. Both will arrive as over the air (OTA) updates, so it would be best to download them over Wi-Fi if you have a limited data plan.

Separately, Huawei has upgraded the Mate 20 Pro to V10.1.0.135 of EMUI 10.1. The update, which is a 1.35 GB download, follows V10.1.0.116 that Huawei issued to the Mate 20 Pro in April. The P30 and Mate 30 series have since joined the Mate 20 Pro on EMUI 10.1 too. The P20 Pro and Mate 10 Pro are in no such luck, though. The two devices are no longer even eligible for security updates, despite some handsets still having not been upgraded to EMUI 10.
