Lenovo has launched a new generation of Yoga 9i 2-in-1 Aura Edition laptops. Based around Intel's Panther Lake platform, the Gen 11 model departs from its Gen 10 and Lunar Lake-based predecessor in several key areas.

At MWC 2026, Lenovo is announcing their newest additions to the legendary ThinkPad T series. The mainstream models Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen 7 and ThinkPad T16 Gen 5 get a lot of love this year, as Lenovo totally redesigned them. Both will launch with AMD and Intel options.

In addition to the standard T14 and T16, Lenovo also updates the more premium T series model, the Lenovo ThinkPad T14s Gen 7. The new version comes with the latest CPUs, which includes Intel Panther Lake, AMD Gorgon Point, but also the Qualcomm Snapdragon X2 Elite. Additionally, Lenovo has revamped the design, making it more repairable, lightweight and convenient to use by adding a USB-C port on the right side.

The second generation of the T14s 2-in-1 is here, and it brings some significant changes. It gets updated to be closer to the regular Lenovo ThinkPad T14s G7, and it also includes a new built in digitizer pen - plus, naturally, Intel Panther Lake.

Dell is slashing up to $250 off the launch prices of the Panther Lake XPS 14 and XPS 16 which now start at just $1350 and $1500, respectively.

Intel is reportedly moving away from employing P and E/LP E-cores on different architectures with the development of the Unified Core design. Team Blue is reportedly following in AMD's footsteps by having both P and E-cores use the same CPU architecture.

Asus has released one of its most lightweight 14-inch laptops. Available in the UK with a global launch to follow, the new release takes advantage of Intel's Panther Lake architecture with an even larger battery than last year's model. The new Zenbook S14 may offer worse graphics performance than its predecessor, though.

Jim Keller's Royal Core project was reportedly dismantled by Intel into individual technologies that could be used in different CPU architectures. One of these technologies was a Unified Core design that would see Intel ditch separate P and E-cores. It has now come to light that Intel is indeed working on Unified Cores.

Samsung has confirmed updated pricing and availability for its new Galaxy Book6, Galaxy Book6 Pro and Galaxy Book6 Ultra laptops. Not only that, but the company has also specified the European countries in which the three Intel Panther Lake-based laptops will be initially available, too.

The new Intel Xe3 currently shipping with Panther Lake-U has only one-fourth the RT cores and one-third the rendering pipelines of the Arc B390 for significantly slower performance levels when gaming.

Panther Lake-H has proven itself to be quite impressive thus far, but the lesser Panther Lake-U series loses a lot of what makes the architecture unique from predecessors.

We had the chance to test the performance of the new Intel Core Ultra 5 338H including the Arc B370 GPU with 10 Xe cores in some benchmarks. The results are very promising and the performance difference to the Arc B390 is small.

The hype about the new Panther Lake CPUs has been mostly about the more expensive variants. Lenovo has now started to turn their attention towards the lower priced models, expanding the price range of Panther Lake with more affordable models like the Lenovo ThinkBook 14 G9 IPL and ThinkBook 16 G9 IPL.

The latest Dell XPS 14 thin-and-light Windows laptop is a success from almost all angles. However, the Intel Panther Lake Core Ultra X7 358H powering the laptop is the true star of the show with fast GPU performance and excellent power efficiency. In fact, the Dell XPS 14 has incredible battery life.

The lower-end configurations were originally planned for a launch on February 19, but Dell is ahead of schedule this time to catch competitors off guard.

How close does Intel's newest Panther Lake Arc B390 iGPU come to the Strix Halo Radeon 8060S?

The Legion 5i Gen 11 is one of the first Intel Panther Lake-based gaming laptops that is actually available to order. Configurable with either a Core Ultra 7 356H or Core Ultra 9 386H, the Legion 5i Gen 11 also features a 165 Hz OLED display, an 80 Wh battery and up to 32 GB of RAM.

The ExpertBook Ultra is just barely over 1 kilogram and it can already run games almost as well as most budget gaming laptops over twice the size. Unfortunately, make sure you're next to a power outlet.

Lenovo updated the IdeaPad Pro 5i with the new Intel Panther Lake CPUs at CES 2026. Armed with a 99.9 Wh battery and up to a Core Ultra X9 388H, the IdeaPad Pro 5i 2026 promised phenomenal endurance. Per reviews, the IdeaPad Pro 5i indeed delivers extraordinary battery life.

The Khadas Mind Pro was officially introduced at CES 2026 as a new Intel Panther Lake mini PC. It packs the Core Ultra X7 358H, which has the top-end Arc B390 iGPU. The pre-order price is $1,799, $200 off the retail price.

The Core Ultra X7 demands just a fraction of the power of gaming laptops powered by GeForce RTX 3050 or RTX 4050 graphics while coming quite close in terms of performance when playing select titles.

The Intel Panther Lake APUs are here, and they are looking quite good. From multi-core performance to power efficiency, Panther Lake APUs like the Core Ultra X9 388H have a lot going for them. However, the Core Ultra X9 388H and its Arc B390 iGPU is particularly impressive at low TDP ranges.

As revealed by recent Passmark listings, the Intel Core Ultra X9 388H "Panther Lake" CPU appears to maintain a 10% lead over its predecessor in multithreaded tests, despite trading two P-cores for E-cores. The chip also maintained its lead over the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 470, which also debuted at CES 2026.

Thunderobot has shared new details about its lightweight gaming laptop. Equipped with an OLED display and Intel's new Core Ultra 9 386H processor, the Thunderobot Zero Air also delivers up to 160 W performance thanks to its Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 laptop GPU, despite weighing less than 1.6 kg.

Asus has quietly released the Zenbook Duo UX8407 after showcasing the dual-screen laptop last week during CES 2026. Equipped with 1,000 nit OLED displays, 32 GB of RAM and a 99 Wh battery, the new Zenbook Duo also surpasses its 2025 counterpart by adopting Intel's Panther Lake platform up to the Core Ultra X9 388H with an Arc B390 iGPU.

Asus has reportedly cancelled its first Arc B390 gaming laptop. Originally part of this year's ROG Zephyrus G14 refresh, the Intel Panther Lake-only variant was allegedly showcased by Intel as a success of its new architecture before being dropped shortly before CES.

Asus launched refreshed versions of the Zenbook S14 and Zenbook S16 at CES 2026. However, it looks like not all configurations are meant for all regions. Intel's upcoming Panther Lake APUs are shaping up to be quite impressive, at least in terms of energy efficiency and graphics performance. However, AMD is reportedly not that worried about the Core Ultra X9 388H Panther Lake flagship and its 12-core Arc B390 iGPU.
