Acer releases new 14-inch laptop with 120 Hz display, Intel Panther Lake and upgradeable RAM

Acer has finally started selling one of the business laptops internationally that it unveiled earlier this year. For context, the company introduced new TravelMate P2 and TravelMate P4 laptops in March. A few months later, it started selling the former across North America.
Now, the latter has arrived in Europe. Specifically, the TravelMate P4 Spin is available to purchase with Intel Panther Lake processors to replace older Arrow Lake-U-based models (curr. $1,090 on Amazon). For reference, while Acer lists the 14-inch convertible in North America, it has not started selling it directly yet. In the meantime, third parties like Insight are already selling it in the US.
Currently, the laptop can be purchased in the US for $1,829 with a Core Ultra 5 325, 16 GB of DDR5 RAM and a 512 GB SSD. Please note that both of these memory components are user replaceable thanks to dual SODIMM and single M.2 slots. Additionally, this price includes a 2,880 x 1,800-pixel IPS display with 350 nits peak brightness and a 60 Hz refresh rate.
By contrast, the TravelMate P4 Spin starts with a 1200p IPS display in Europe. Priced at €1,595 (~$1,856), this configuration features the same hardware as its US counterpart. Incidentally, Acer sells a Core Ultra 5 322 variant with 16 GB of RAM, a 512 GB SSD and a 1200p display in France for €1,699 (~$1,977).
Alternatively, the 14-inch convertible starts at €1,899 (~$2,210) with the Core Ultra 7 355 but the same memory configuration and display. Meanwhile, the TravelMate P4 Spin runs to €2,399 (~$2,790) with the same processor, 32 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage. Please see Acer's website for more details.
