Acer releases new 14-inch lightweight laptop with 120 Hz OLED, 32 GB RAM and Intel Arc B390 graphics
Last week, Acer brought numerous laptops to IFA 2026 in Berlin. As we discussed at the time, the Swift Blade 14 and Swift Air 16 leverage Intel's Wildcat Lake architectures. At the same time, the company started selling the Swift Air 14 internationally, having presented it a few months earlier during Computex 2026 in Taipei.
On top of those 14-inch laptops, we spotted Acer offering the latest Swift Go 16 with more powerful processor options. Incidentally, the company now sells the smaller Swift Go 14 with comparable processors, too. For context, Acer had previously indicated that the Swift Go 14 would be available with up to the Core Ultra 9 386H from Intel’s Panther Lake family.
A 16-core processor, the Core Ultra 9 386H makes do with a 4-core iGPU to match cheaper options like the Core Ultra 5 325 and Core Ultra 7 355. As a result, the new Swift Go 14 fails to match the GPU performance of older Intel Lunar Lake-based laptops with Arc 130V and Arc 140V iGPUs, including the Aspire 14 we reviewed last year (curr. $779 on Amazon).
The release of Core Ultra 5 338H, Core Ultra X7 358H and Core Ultra X9 388H variants rectifies this shortcoming, though. Specifically, these processors provide the Swift Go 14 with Arc B370 and Arc B390 iGPUs, respectively. According to our benchmarks, these iGPUs deliver 95% and 111% higher in-game performance than the 4-core Xe3 iGPU in the Core Ultra 9 386H. Additionally, Acer complements these processors with up to 32 GB of RAM, a 71 Wh battery and an 1800p OLED display, all within a 1.12 kg housing.
Currently, we can only find these more powerful configurations for sale in Hong Kong and Singapore. At the time of publication, the Swift Go 14 starts at SGD and HKD 15,489 (~$1,975) with the Core Ultra 5 338H, 16 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD. By contrast, Core Ultra X7 358H configurations vary between SGD 2,799-SGD 3,199 and HKD 18,498 (~$2,359), with up to 32 GB of RAM and an 1800p OLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate.
Meanwhile, a Core Ultra X9 388H variant costs SGD 3,499 (~$2,765) in Singapore. This SKU contains the same underlying hardware as its Core Ultra X7 358H equivalent, though. Unfortunately, Acer has not confirmed availability for other markets yet.
