Lenovo releases new 14-inch laptop with OLED display and over 18 hours battery life

Lenovo has released a new 14-inch laptop internationally. Currently available in Europe with a broader release to come, the IdeaPad Slim 5 14ARP10 ships with upgradeable RAM, dual SSD slots and a 400-nit OLED display. The laptop's 60 Wh battery is said to last over 18 hours in official tests, too.

Lenovo has released a new 14-inch laptop in Europe. Specifically, it has started selling the IdeaPad Slim 5 14ARP10 in Austria and Germany. While the laptop is not available elsewhere yet, Lenovo has already listed it in multiple markets. The company's PSREF website suggests that the 14-inch laptop will not receive a US release, though.

Setting availability aside, the IdeaPad Slim 5 14ARP10 adopts a 400-nit OLED display with a 1,920 x 1,200-pixel resolution, a 16:10 aspect ratio, 100% DCI-P3 colour space coverage and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification. The brightest and most vibrant of the three displays listed on PSREF, this panel only boasts a 60 Hz refresh rate.

Additionally, Lenovo equips the IdeaPad Slim 5 14ARP10 with the Ryzen 5 7533HS from AMD's older Rembrandt Refresh generation with Radeon 660M graphics. As a result, the 14-inch laptop will fall short of the performance offered by the IdeaPad Slim 5 16AKP10 we reviewed in November 2025 (curr. $999 on Amazon). Nonetheless, the IdeaPad Slim 5 14ARP10 contains M.2 2242 and M.2 2280 slots, as well as dual SODIMM slots that support up to 32 GB of DDR5-4800 RAM.

Lenovo charges €999 (~$1,160) for the IdeaPad Slim 5 14ARP10 in the Eurozone, including taxes. This price also includes a Wi-Fi 7-capable modem and a 60 Wh battery, which contributes to the laptop's 1.39 kg weight and 313.4 x 222 x 16.9 mm dimensions. For reference, Lenovo claims that this 60 Wh battery lasts over 18 hours during 1080p local video playback at 150 nits. Please see the company's website for more details.
