The Nvidia RTX 4070 Super review embargo is about to end soon. But hours before the end of the embargo, the performance measures of the new GeForce GPU have surfaced. Its leaked 3DMark scores point to a good performance improvement over the non-Super GeForce RTX 4070.

The RTX 40 SUPER and RX 7600 XT GPUs are slated to be released later this month. According to serial leaker Moore’s Law Is Dead, the launch supply of the RX 7600 XT will be pretty good while the RTX 4070 SUPER will also enjoy good availability. However, the RTX 4080 SUPER and the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER could be much harder to buy at launch.

The MSI Creator M16 HX is the first in the M-series lineup to feature Intel 14th gen Raptor Lake-HX Refresh processors. Asus has consolidated its TUF gaming lineup at CES 2024. The TUF Gaming F16 will be the only one of its kind to launch with a Core i7-13650HX, 32 GB RAM and a 2 TB SSD.

A new Asus TUF Gaming A16 variant has been announced at CES 2024. It features a 16-inch, 165 Hz screen (FHD/QHD), a 90 Wh battery and up to 32 GB of RAM.

Asus has refreshed the TUF Gaming A15 with AMD's latest Ryzen 8000 Hawk Point processors, a 16:10 screen and a USB 4.0 Type-C port. Other features include a GeForce RTX 4070 and a 90 Wh battery.

Acer is refreshing the Nitro 17 at CES 2024 with Intel Raptor Lake-HX options up to the Core i7-14700HX. Other aspects including the 17.3-inch QHD 165 Hz display, liquid metal TIM for the CPU, RTX 4060, and 90 WHr battery remain unchanged from last year.

Lenovo is introducing a refreshed LOQ 15 lineup at CES 2024. The new LOQ 15 includes SKUs powered by Intel Core i7-14700HX and AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS along with entry-level options featuring the Alder Lake Core i5-12450HX. Lenovo also offers a choice of RTX 4050 and RTX 4060 GPUs along with Arc A350M in the LOQ 15AX9I, but the LOQ 15AHP9 is restricted only to the EMEA.

The new Blade 14 will begin shipping on January 23 with the promise of 40 percent faster generative AI performance over last year's Ryzen 9 7940HS. If you don't care much for AI, however, the new changes are otherwise minimal upgrades over the 2023 model.

ASUS has presented the ROG NUC, a mini-PC designed to achieve the performance levels of a current gaming laptop. While the ASUS ROG NUC combines an Intel Core Ultra 9 185H processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 allowed to use up to 140 W, it does so within a 2.5-litre housing that measures just 27 x 18 x 5 cm.

The new Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080 Super offers the complete AD103 die at 10,240 CUDA cores compared to 9,728 cores in the original RTX 4080. The RTX 4080 Super offers a slightly faster 16 GB GDDR6X VRAM and operates at the same 320 W TGP as the RTX 4080 while costing US$200 less.

The Alienware x16 R2 is now official with a 16-inch QHD+ 240 Hz screen, 32 GB of LPDDR5X RAM, 4 TB storage and a 90 Wh battery. Unfortunately, there is no word about when it goes on sale.

The Alienware m18 R2 has been officially announced at CES 2024. Apart from the CPU swap to Intel's 14th-gen HX models, the remaining specs are the same as last year's models.

The Alienware m16 R2 is Dell's newest Meteor Lake gaming laptop with a Core Ultra 7 155H or Core Ultra 9 185H. They can be paired with a GeForce RTX 4070, RTX 4060 or RTX 4050 and up to 64 GB RAM. You can buy some configurations on January 11 starting at $1,699.

Lenovo's flagship gaming laptop, the Legion 9i Gen 9, has been revealed at CES 2024. It features a mini-LED screen, up to 64 GB of DDR5 RAM and the company's in-house LA3-P AI chip. It can be bought soon for $4,399.

New Predator Helios 18 and Predator Helios 16 variants have been announced at CES 2024. They're essentially the same as last year's models, with a processor upgrade.

The Studio and Evo variants share the same chassis and most of the features. However, the Studio variant is slightly heavier as it can be equipped with up to an RTX 4070 dGPu from Nvidia, while the Evo one only relies on the integrated Intel Arc from the Meteor Lake processors.

HP is introducing the Omen Transcend 14 at CES 2024, pitching it as the world's coolest and lightest 14-inch gaming laptop. The Omen Transcend 14 features an IMAX-enhanced 2.8K 120 Hz OLED display and offers up to Core Ultra 9 185H and RTX 4070 options. Buyers can also optionally configure the Transcend 14 with Wi-Fi 7 networking.

The holy grail of OLED displays is coming closer to reality first on the Razer Blade 16. The fast 240 Hz refresh rate should make it more fit for gaming when compared to the usual 60 Hz options on the vast majority of OLED panels.

An e-commerce listing has revealed the key specs of the MSI Titan 18 HX. The laptop's CPU and GPU have access to 270 Watts in total. Other features include support for 128 GB RAM and 4 TB storage.

NVIDIA is reportedly announcing the RTX 40 SUPER GPUs on January 8 with CUDA core increases and clock speed enhancements, among others. According to the latest leak by Moore’s Law Is Dead, the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER and the RTX 4070 SUPER could retain the prices of their RTX 40 siblings while the RTX 4080 SUPER could end up becoming a direct competitor to the RX 7900 XTX.
