Some of LG's 2020 TVs are set to go beyond the 8K Ultra HD criteria
LG has announced that the next generation of Signature OLED and NanoCell TVs have "exceeded" the requirements for the 8K Ultra HD designation. This new spec has been developed by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) in order to define the next-gen resolution standard. Therefore, the Korean giant may be the first to use buzzwords such as "Real 8K" when marketing new products.
ZTE's Axon 10s Pro is a Snapdragon 865 phone with 5G and Wi-Fi 6
ZTE has unveiled the Axon 10s Pro, a new version of its flagship with an updated processor, Wi-Fi standard and connectivity level. It supports dual-mode 5G, thanks to its X55 modem connected to its next-gen premium SoC. The 10s Pro will also pack LPDDR5 RAM and UFS3.0 flash storage.

OnePlus 8: new leak paints a picture of a real crowd-pleaser
OnePlus may launch the 8-series of phones in 2020. A new leak suggests that the OEM is covering nearly every base possible with at least 1 of its variants. They include the Snapdragon 865, wireless charging, an IP rating, the Sony IMX686, Warp Charge 30T, LPDDR5 memory and an IR blaster.
Microsoft extends support for Windows 10 Mobile to January 14, 2020
Windows 10 Mobile has been granted a small bit of life support. While the mobile OS was slated to enter end-of-life on December 10, Microsoft will support the operating system until January 14, 2020. This is the same day Windows 7 will lose support.
Realme Buds Air to launch alongside the X2 in India
Realme will debut the X2 in a new market, India, tomorrow (December 17, 2019). It will be joined on stage by the brand's first fully-wireless (or TWS) audio accessories. According to official teasers, they look like AirPods, although they come in more colors.
FBI shuts down 2 illegal streaming sites, one of which is bigger than Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Hulu combined
Two computer programmers were arrested by the FBI this month on charges of procuring and distributing pirated content. The two programmers ran subscription-based websites that illegally streamed copyrighted content without the knowledge or consent of the copyright holders. One of the websites had more content available than Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, and Vudu.
Razer opens its first brick and mortar store in Europe
Razer has opened its first shop in Europe, giving fans the chance to experience all its laptops, peripherals and clothing in one place. Located in London's West End, the store covers over 3,700 square feet split across two floors. DolphiniOS is a promising GameCube and Wii emulator for iOS
A new GameCube and Wii emulator has appeared for iOS. DolphiniOS, a project from developer Oatmeal Dome, can play some games at full speed, including Super Mario Sunshine and Super Mario Galaxy 2. The project is still in the early alpha stage of development, so it will only become more stable as development continues.
Several Ring home cameras breached, recycled passwords likely to blame
Multiple families have reported their Ring cameras have been accessed by unknown third parties. The bad actors were able to access the video feeds and speakers of the cameras to frighten members of the affected households, including children. Ring has stated that the malicious parties probably accessed the cameras by using the victims' usernames and passwords, which were likely leaked in an unrelated data breach and recycled for the Ring cameras.
