Reviews for the Asus StudioBook Pro X W730G5T-H8050T
For mobile workstations, performance is the top priority. Accordingly, Asus equips its ProArt StudioBook Pro X W730G5T with the Nvidia Quadro RTX 5000 but does without eight-core CPUs. This is a mistake, because the price is too high for the built-in CPU.

The ProArt StudioBook Pro X W730G5T is Asus's first attempt in the professional workstation notebook segment and nails most aspects, from the study compact built to the unique 16:10 wide-gamut display and the competent performance and thermals. It could still improve in some areas, and it's not going to be enough for Asus to make a solid product to get competitive in this niche, they also have to deliver on the QC and support expected at this level. Our rating is preliminary, as it's based on a pre-release test unit.

This range for display formats was and is a rarity. It is larger than the general standard of 15 inches, but not yet in the range of large workstations. One usually has higher screen resolutions available, but portability suffers from that.

With this weight, a laptop is rather heavier than average. Devices in this range shine more with screen size and performance than with mobility.
