Reviews for the Asus ProArt StudioBook Pro X W730G5T-H8103R

ASUS ProArt StudioBook Pro X Review
Source: The Tech Revolutionist English
Our only gripe on this product is that despite it being a product that is just launched in Singapore, it is still running on the older Coffee Lake processors (It is 2 generation old now). If you have to option to wait before making a new workstation, we will recommend you to do so. We can expect new NVIDIA Quadro based on the new Ampere architecture to be out next for notebook computers, which will further improve performance at a lower price point. We do expect ASUS to refresh this notebook with new components in the future too.

NVIDIA Quadro RTX 5000 (Laptop): Professional high-end laptop graphics card based on the TU104 chip with 3,072 shaders and 16 GB GDDR6 VRAM. Compared to the desktop variant, the GPU is clocked lower. There are different versions available with 110 Watt (1035 - 1545 MHz) and 150 Watt (1350 - 1770 MHz) in addition to the even lower clocked Max-Q variant.

These graphics cards are able to play the latest and most demanding games in high resolutions and full detail settings with enabled Anti-Aliasing.

E-2276M: On Coffee Lake architecture based professional processor for big and heavy laptops. Integrates six processor cores clocked at 2.8 - 4.7 GHz that support HyperThreading / SMT (12 threads). Manufactured in an improved 14nm process (14nm++). Compared to the similar consumer Intel Core i7-9850H, the Xeon is clocked a bit higher (100 - 200 MHz) and offers  support for ECC main memory.» Further information can be found in our Comparison of Mobile Processsors.

17.3":

This large display size is used for laptops which are mainly intended for an use on a desk.

Large display-sizes allow higher resolutions. So, details like letters are bigger. On the other hand, the power consumption is lower with small screen diagonals and the devices are smaller, more lightweight and cheaper.

2.5 kg:

Usually subnotebooks, ultrabooks and quite lightweight laptops with 12-16 inch display-diagonal weigh as much.

Asus: ASUSTeK Computer Incorporated, a Taiwanese multinational company, produces motherboards, graphics cards, optical drives, PDAs, computer monitors, notebook computers, servers, networking products, mobile phones, computer cases, computer components, and computer cooling systems. The company's 2007 revenues reached US$6.9 billion. ASUS also produces components for other manufacturers. The Eee PC initiated the netbook boom in 2008.

In the notebook sector, Asus had a global market share of about 11% from 2014-2016, making it the fourth largest laptop manufacturer. In the smartphone sector, Asus is not among the Top 5 and has only a small market share (as of 2016).
