The Home Assistant 2025.10 release is here. With this update, users of the open-source smart home automation software get more improvements linked to the automations editor. Plus, the AI Task feature can now be used to generate images, and voice assistants support more than one wake word.

Google has now started selling its long-awaited Nest Doorbell 3rd Gen Wired doorbell. While the new wireless doorbell contains various upgrades over older models, Google is only offering the Nest Doorbell 3rd Gen Wired in two countries for the time being.

BenQ’s newly launched TK705 series 4K home theater projectors are now available for pre-order in the US. The TK705 series consists of two projectors, the TK705i and the TK705STi. Both projectors offer 4K UHD resolution, up to 3,000 ANSI lumens brightness, the latest version of Google TV, 8 W speakers, and wired and wireless connectivity options.

Roborock has released the Qrevo Curv 2 Pro and Qrevo Curv 2 ProX robot vacuum and mops in Europe. This new model is the most powerful in the brand’s Curv range, and also offers hot water mopping. There is only one difference between these two versions, linked to their accessories.

Xming has launched the Q6 smart projector in China. It is a cheaper model, with integrated ambient lighting and an adjustable-angle stand. Other features include HDR10+ decoding, a range of tools to perfect the image, and support for Xiaomi HyperOS and the brand’s smartphone app.

The new Redmi TV X 2026 raises the bar for affordable 4K TVs, bringing an 85-inch Mini LED display and high-end features at a budget-friendly price. The TV is launching first in China and is expected to hit global markets early next year.

Samsung is now accepting pre-orders for its new 115-inch Micro RGB Vision AI Smart TV in the US. Also available to order at a European retailer, this is the first model from the brand to feature the micro-scale RGB LED backlight. Roborock has launched a new model in China: the P20 Living Water Edition (machine translated). This robot vacuum and mop is the first from the brand to feature a roller mop rather than rotating mop heads. It also offers relatively strong suction power and comes with a self-cleaning docking station.

Philips Hue has released a new collection of smart lighting effects. Appearing after a recent app update, though not acknowledged in the change log, the range includes many new fall-themed color schemes. Plus, there is a 24-hour scene which will automatically adjust throughout the day.

The Govee Star Light Projector (Ocean Wave) is now available in North America and Europe. This smart lighting product can throw colorful water inspired effects onto the walls or ceiling of a room. There is a wide range of presets to choose from, and the device also has an integrated Bluetooth speaker to play music or white noise.

Govee has released another smart light: the Outdoor Decoration Projector Light. This model offers two types of lighting, themed laser patterns and ripple effect backgrounds. It has a large projection area of up to 1,679 ft² (~156 m²), with 20 projection discs to choose from and a wide range of presets in the brand’s app.

Hisense has released the PT1 4K UHD triple laser cinema in the US. This model was unveiled earlier this year and is already available in Europe. Features include Google TV with Google Assistant, gaming tools like ALLM and MEMC motion smoothing, and support for Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos.

TCL has released the QM9K QD-Mini LED QLED 4K UHD Smart TV in the US. The new model will feature Google Gemini, through a future update, and a presence sensor that allows the screen to switch on automatically. Compared to the QM8K, this device has more local dimming zones and a higher brightness level.

Aqara has launched the H2 EU Shutter Switch in various European countries. With support for both Thread and Zigbee, it can be connected to many other Aqara devices and integrate with a range of smart home ecosystems. There are four buttons in total, allowing you to control your roller blind or awning as well as other products, with further controls through the brand’s app.

Samsung has launched its 2025 The Movingstyle Smart TV in the Republic of Korea. This device combines a 27-inch touchscreen with a rolling floor stand, making it easy to move around your home. Plus, the detachable screen is portable, with a built-in battery, integrated speakers and a kickstand.

A new Philips Hue smart home integration is rolling out to users of Sonos devices. You can now use the audio brand’s voice assistant to control Hue smart lights and smart plugs. Plus, there are also bug fixes for Philips Hue app users, arriving in version 5.51.0 of the company’s smartphone app.

Hisense has launched the 139-inch and 15-inch versions of the Xplorer X1 Ultra laser TV in China. Following on from two smaller variants released earlier this year, these products share many similarities with the brand’s L9Q projector, which is available in other markets globally.
