Jmgo has released the N1S 4K Special Edition projector in China. This is an upgraded version of the original home theater model, which was on show at CES 2025 and rolled out globally later that year.
The main difference between the Jmgo N1S 4K Special Edition and its predecessor is an increased level of brightness. According to the company, the Special Edition projector can deliver up to 1,650 ISO lumens (1,500 CVIA lumens) brightness, a 15% improvement. As before, it can project images with a 4K (3,840 x 2,160 px) resolution, with a 1.15:1 throw ratio. Other specifications include a 30,000:1 FOFO contrast ratio, 110% coverage of the BT.2020 color space, and support for MEMC motion smoothing.
The Jmgo N1S 4K Special Edition offers five gaming modes, like RPG, FPS and RCG, as well as a virtual crosshair tool, variable refresh rate (VRR) and 1 ms ultra-low latency. The model has an integrated stand, allowing you to adjust the projection angle. Plus, there are two built-in 5W speakers, supporting Dolby Audio and DTS-HD, and ports including HDMI 2.1 and USB 2.0. The Chinese version of this model uses Bonfire OS 7 with 3GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.
In China, the JMGO N1S 4K Special Edition projector retails for CNY 4,374 (~$627), making it CNY 125 (~$18) more expensive than the original version. Whether or when this variant of the home theater projector could be released globally is unclear; in the US, the Jmgo N1S 4K projector is currently available for $799.00 at Amazon (RRP $899.00).
