Huawei has presented the Mate X5 in China, a tweaked version of last year's Mate X3. Now equipped with Huawei's Kirin 9000S chipset, the Mate X5 shares all other core hardware with its predecessor, including its battery, cameras and displays.

The Phantom V Flip is Tecno's first ever clamshell foldable Android smartphone - according to an online case store, at least. It is touted as its OEM's first-gen satellite messaging-capable Android device - however, it is now also slated to pack three 50MP cameras in total, not to mention a 120Hz display and the same "Super Fast" charging specs as the Xiaomi 13 Pro. Nevertheless, Ulefone has now also revealed that it will not cost nearly as much on its release to the European market.

The Pixel and Pixel 8 Pro are still about a month away from launching, with Google having now confirmed plans to host a Pixel hardware event on October 4. According to new rumours, Google will equip both models globally with SIM card slots and will offer Night Sight for video, at least for the Pixel 8 Pro.
