MagyarRedesign of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is slimmer with a flat display and thinner edges, while the Galaxy S25+ is coming after all
It has been known for a while now that Samsung plans to create a new look for its Galaxy Camera flagship in 2025, following several years of design stagnation, at least according to the rumor mill. What the end result will ultimately look like has not materialized so far. Lots of concept images are currently floating around online, all of which should be viewed with caution.
One person who wants to know exactly what Samsung has planned is the well-known Twitter and Weibo user Ice Universe, who has provided a large number of correct leaks in the past, but has not been completely infallible either, so his latest hints about the design of the Galaxy S25 Ultra should also be taken with a grain of salt. Ice Universe claims that the redesign is now complete and that the front and back are no longer completely symmetrical. The back is said to be more rounded, but the edges on the front will remain flat.

Flat display expected
The chassis is expected to be thinner overall and more similar to the design of the Galaxy S24, which also means that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will feel better to hold and have fewer sharp edges. At the same time, thinner edges around the display are expected, so that the display edges will be optically less noticeable. In a follow-up tweet, Ice Universe also confirms that a flat AMOLED display will once again be used.

Galaxy S25+ discovered in the IMEI database
There is also news about the mid-range Galaxy S25 model. Observers recently suggested that the Plus model could potentially be canceled next year after only model numbers of the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25 Ultra were spotted in the IMEI database. It is now clear that there will also be another Galaxy S25+, which has now appeared there as a latecomer with the model number SM-S936U.
