Samsung Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25 Ultra revealed without Galaxy S25 Plus
Android Headlines has discovered early references to Galaxy S25 series models on IMEI databases. So far, the website has seen the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25 Ultra, evidence of which we have embedded below. As usual, Samsung has created various regional variants, such as one for South Korea, another for Europe and a third for carrier-locked US SKUs.
By contrast, Android Headlines asserts that it cannot find comparable results for the Galaxy S25 Plus. Consequently, it boldly claims that there will be 'radical change' for the Galaxy S series early next year with 'no more Plus model'. However, it has not provided any evidence to back up that claim. Instead, it has taken the Galaxy S25 Plus' current omission from IMEI databases as proof that the device does not exist at all, even though we are at least six months away from a prospective Galaxy S25 release.
Going off recent Plus variant model numbers, including the Galaxy S24 Plus (curr. $899 on Amazon), the Galaxy S25 Plus should be associated with the model number SM-S936. Accordingly, GalaxyClub reports as much, adding that Samsung is developing three new Galaxy S smartphones internally as F1, F2 and F3, which relate to the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus and Galaxy S25 Ultra, respectively. As such, we would recommend taking Android Headlines' somewhat hyperbolic claims with a healthy amount of scepticism for now.
