Leaker reveals new Samsung Galaxy Watch7 details through leaked official images
At first glance, the Galaxy Watch7 looks unchanged from last year's Galaxy Watch6 (curr. $234.99 on Amazon). Accordingly, Evan Blass' latest leak about the forthcoming smartwatch series confirms that Samsung will continue to offer premium smartwatches in 40 mm and 44 mm variants. For reference, these variants will arrive as the SM-L300 and SM-L310, respectively, or SM-L305 and SM-L315 for their corresponding LTE SKUs.
Additionally, the Galaxy Watch7 series will only match its predecessor's 5 ATM water resistance. By contrast, Samsung will market the Galaxy Watch Ultra as being resistant to 10 ATM. With that being said, the Galaxy Watch7 series will match its Galaxy Watch Ultra counterpart in terms of featuring Sapphire Crystal glass to protect its flat displays.
Incidentally, it appears that the Galaxy Watch7 series has even slimmer display bezels than its Galaxy Watch6 counterparts. As the images below show, Samsung plans to sell this year's Galaxy Watch smartwatches with a new set of watch bands that look slightly less premium than those it has created for the Galaxy Watch Ultra. Currently, Samsung is expected to release the Galaxy Watch7 series on July 10 alongside the Galaxy Watch Ultra, Galaxy Buds3, Galaxy Buds3 Pro, Galaxy Z Flip6 and Galaxy Z Fold6.
