Lemfofit Lem 4 arrives as new cheaper smartwatch with alleged ECG and blood glucose monitoring
Lemfofit is selling a new ECG Blood Glucose Monitor wearable, the Lem 4. The model appears to offer many of the same health features as the older Lem 3 and at a lower price. However, potential customers may want to consider several factors before purchasing.
The Lem 4 is said to offer non-invasive blood glucose and blood pressure measurements as well as ECG and PPG features. However, there is no evidence to suggest that any of these tools are medical grade or that this is a medically certified device; it is certainly not approved by the FDA. Body composition analysis, which seems to be a new feature for the Lem 4, is listed alongside temperature, heart rate and blood oxygen level measurements. Unfortunately, the accuracy of any of this data is unclear. Other health-related tools include sleep tracking, exercise logging, breathing exercises and stress tests. Lemfofit also indicates that the smartwatch provides Bluetooth calling and music playback, an AI voice assistant, and a phone-finding tool.
The wearable has a 350mAh battery, which Lemfofit claims provides a long battery life, though no estimate is provided. The smartwatch has a 1.97-inch AMOLED display with a 390 x 450 px resolution and is available in black and silver colorways. The Lemfofit Lem 4 ECG Blood Glucose Monitor wearable is currently available at a discounted price of $49.99; the smartwatch is expected retail for $94.99 in the future. For comparison, the Lem 3 is listed with a retail price of $159.99. The company ships worldwide, with delivery costs varying by country. It is also worth noting that returns must be requested via email, with no return address provided on the website.
